Everything happened for a Reason

Everything happened for a Reason

Rachel stayed silent and let her sister cry to her heart content. Rachel was taken aback when she received a call from her sister, Raelianna crying. She panicked for a while before she could think rationally and told her sister to meet up in a restaurant, as for the reason why in the restaurant, it is because the walls have ears. When Rachel arrived in the private room, Raelianna was already there, and in front of her were some papers and pictures. Raelianna was already crying. There are mixed emotions in her eyes, despair, anguish, self-condemnation. Rachel walks forward and among the pictures, she saw her son with a girl whose appearance was a little similar to Lily when she was young. Ra

The Billionaire's Insignificant Wife

The Billionaire's Insignificant Wife

Richard and Emma stepped out of the office. Rachel closed the door. She turned and walked back to her desk. She still had a great deal of work ahead of her. Including reviewing Alina's case. Looking for cracks in Daniel's seemingly impenetrable defense. Rachel sat down. She opened the thick file on the Blackwood family. She read through her notes with careful attention. Searching for something. Anything. That could be used against Daniel. She had been reading for about ten minutes when a knock came at the door. Rachel frowned. She had no client appointments this afternoon.

It's abuse, after abuse, no justice, nothing. I just hope that this is NOT one of those stories with endless chapters. it's becoming boring! Beside they know that the husband is powerfull and capable of anything, THEY SHOULD THINK AHEAD!

Brilliant book. Captivating and heartbreaking. As a mother, it really hits the feels, as a woman it angers me so much, and as a human I just want it to end but in the best way. I highly recommend this book and I am looking forward to the conclusion

 Sheryl; Alpha Ashton's Beloved Mate

Sheryl; Alpha Ashton's Beloved Mate

“That’s our mate! We need to go back!” “No,” I said more firmly than I intended. I couldn’t bring myself to face him after finding out this new information. It had to have been a mistake. Oh goddess, please tell me you’ve made a mistake. As I went back to my dorm room, Rachel was lying on her bed. She was doodling in her notebook with headphones on, kicking her foot to the beat of her music. She had an unusual style to her; she wore colorful clothing that fit tightly around her perfectly formed figure. She wasn’t afraid to show skin and I

The Bargain

The Bargain

She dropped the phone and went out. Steffan was not anywhere in the house. She was sad but relieved too. At least she didn't have to walk on eggshells. She was so tired, but she couldn't bring herself to nap, so she walked into the study and picked out a book. She was on the third page when she heard a knock on the door. “Come.” She said. Luna walked in and leaned close to her. She placed a note in her hand and stepped back. “What is this, who gave you this?” Racheal asked, as she placed the book she had been reading on her lap, to open the note.

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

“She couldn’t have—” My voice trailed off as I thought about darkness. “Just be careful, Lila.” I looked back up at him and nodded. “I’ll see you later,” I said to him as I turned and left the arena. …. Rachel sat in the back corner of the library at a small table with her history textbook laid out in front of her. She had a notebook to the side of the textbooks with different colored notes sprawled out on the thin paper. She had her fingers dug into her dark hair and I could see that she was incredibly stressed.

After leaving a review for the "prequel" to this I realized I never reviewed this book!! I really love this book, and how much you can really feel for the characters and the amount of unexpected turn of events is extremely intriguing and captivating (I'm usually good at predictions lol).Must read!

Good book. I wish that Alpha Jonathan paid for his part in Lila’s situation. I feel like the story isn’t complete without that being addressed. Other than that, overall a good book but contains a lot of grammatical and character’s name errors.

Mate? Or Die!

Mate? Or Die!

In the late afternoon, Rachel found herself in the pack’s meeting hall, in a room with rows of shelves and piles of ancient scrolls. Rachel was seated cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by faded tomes and crumbling parchment. Her brow was furrowed, and her lips moved silently as she read. Her focus was so intense that she didn’t even look up when I entered the room. “Still digging through the archives?” I asked, leaning against the doorframe. Rachel startled slightly but quickly composed herself. “Serena,” she said with her voice tinged with excitement. “You need to see this.”

RESURRECTED?

RESURRECTED?

, Rachel grunts. I want to say "Why", but I don't want to risk sounding like a creep so I whatever her and go back to going through the rest of the shelf even though I'd done that a thousand times before. I drag my hands across the spines of the books; Kara Taylor's Prep School Confidential, Carol Wyer's The Secret Admirer, and Megan Goldin's The Night Swim. You would be subtle to call Rachel a crime-thriller addict - she's more of a crime freak. The Night Swim. There is a piece of paper sticking out of it. I pull it out of the book. Something is scribbled across it in Rachel's handwriting.

Shattered Trust

Shattered Trust

Chapter Ninety Three: Rachel's Inner Struggle Rachel sat alone in the darkened room of her apartment, hands clasped tightly around a mug of tea that she hadn't sipped. The warmth from the cup seeped into her palms but did nothing to quell the chill gnawing at her chest. She hadn't been able to get out of bed for the past few days, but today, her mind couldn't afford the luxury of lingering in self-pity any longer.

His Forgotten Love Returns: The Return of the Ex-wife

His Forgotten Love Returns: The Return of the Ex-wife

She played with the flowers on her lap, staring ahead. It was strange seeing her quiet. Rachel used to talk endlessly about her day, about everything she found interesting, or about the novel she was reading. I listened even when I had no idea what she was talking about. She just needed my attention, and I gave it. I wondered if she still read the way she used to. "What book are you reading right now?" I asked. She frowned, her lips parting slightly as she looked at me. "Book?" "A novel?" "I’m not reading any novels. I don’t think I even read…" she trailed off.
