Rogue

Rogue

The image haunted my mind as he drove his dagger into the rogue's neck and dark blood split from the open wound. Blinking back the tears, I tried to ignore the rogue's face. She was beautiful. Dark hair, blue eyes and pale skin. She was so scared because she knew she was going to die. The desperate look in her eyes as she stared at me the same moment my father killed her. Jolting up from sleep, I found myself reeling from the nightmare I'd had a thousand times before. Except for this time, it seemed much worse. Moving my legs over the edge of my bed, I sat up straighter and grabbed my jeans, before pulling them on.

Dagger of the Blood Moon

Dagger of the Blood Moon

I stagger, vision flickering, but Atlas’s fury drives me forward, my jaws tearing its ear clean off, forcing it to retreat with a yelp. The forest is a maelstrom of savagery—snarls tear through the air like thunder, branches snap like brittle bones under the weight of clashing bodies, and the metallic reek of blood drowns out the pine and earth. Rogues swarm our flanks with unnerving coordination, darting in pairs to exploit gaps in our line, their movements betraying an insider’s knowledge of our defences. A massive rogue leaps onto my back, its silver claws sinking into my haunch, the agony a white-hot brand that threatens to buckle my legs. My vision blurs red, but I buck wildly, muscles

The Broken Alpha's Little Mate

The Broken Alpha's Little Mate

The silver shackles on the rogue's legs cause him to fall back onto the ground. Dylan stands over him and presses his foot into the giant wound Cora made in his groin. "You will never touch another woman," Dylan growls. A puddle of dark red blood begins to pool around the rogue's body and I don't know if Dylan has the restraint to stop from killing him. Finally, Dylan removes his foot from the rogue's wound and steps away. I let out a sigh of relief because I need to know which one of these bastards is Donovan. Stepping up to the rogue I pull him to his feet by his collar. "Are you Donovan?"

Bound To The Immortal Beast

Bound To The Immortal Beast

I ignore her rude remark and keep following her. The scent of gasoline hit, too strong it burn through my nostril and the sight makes my stomach twist. At the center of the room is a strange man, unrecognizable as if tortured for several days, with a pool of blood beneath him as he struggles on the floor. Something wet is slicking down his body, and right before him is... Drogo. The rogue Alpha. He sat like a man who owns the space, a cigarette dangling at the side of his lips. Smoke curls the frame of his cold face.

The abuse she faced from a young age has messed her up so bad that her brain doesn't understand how bad of a situation she is in. He stops after who knows how many strikes, her body as completely given up on her, she tries to breathe with difficulty, leaning her whole body on the pillar. The pain is so excruciating, and it hurts more as she knows there's a satisfactory grin on his face. He comes in front of her, after stripping the black formal shirt and the black formal pants he had on. Alex takes off the tie that was tied around her torso and pushes her down on her knees. She looks up at him with tears in her eyes; he looks down at her with a playful smirk on his face. She slowly looks dow

Dragon's Blood (Book Two)

Dragon's Blood (Book Two)

The air is light and refreshing, I find myself closing my eyes. Opening my eyes once more, I continue to walk forward. As I walk the grass beneath me begins to grow warm. I shift my gaze down and watch as the light green grass begins to glow yellow. From the middle of the clearing purple fog begins to form. The fog is thick and dark as it begins to further spread. I watch as the fog suddenly begins to spiral upward. Slowly the fog begins to clear and a large black dog with glowing purple eyes stands before me. Wisps of black flames surround the dog. The creature approaches me and then lies down in front of me.

I really liked this book. The author demonstrated good imagination.....right up to the end. That's where you lost me. I'm lost as to why you would allow his childhood sweetheart to live through the final destruction only to kill her when he finds out she is the only one he loved that is still alive.

I think it was quite a nice ending, dark and idk but it was dark and nice. I don't really see how this book can continue, I do hope it does but they shouldn't waste this ending, amazing, thanks to the Author for a good well written poor to rich novel
