Daddy Dominant's Good Girl
I opened the sliding door to my covered balcony and stepped out, breathing in the crisp, wet air from the rainstorm.
I could watch the lovely droplets from here. They struck the leaves and petals of the flowers in the garden below. Each "plunk" was like a musical note, my own personal classical orchestra of raindrops playing a symphony just for me. I closed my eyes and listened to the sound, like a piece by Beethovan, bringing my garden to life.
Water droplets made the flower petals glitter like they were gilded with diamonds. Roses, lilies, peonies, and chrysanthemums of purple, white, red, orange, and pink, all looked like jeweled pendants hanging from a woman's neck.
