The witches glance up to see them, Azalea screaming and running to Alaric, throwing herself at him in a tangle of limbs as his arms wrap around her. “Have fun tormenting the other wolves?” He looks at her, smiling. Azalea rolls her eyes and pouts. “No. I haven’t gotten a single spell right this week.” She hugs Alaric tighter as Zander saunters into the room. “Right,” he claps his hands together, “you two have a lot to get sorted this week so the witches will help in any way we can. A lot of witches from other covens are coming to the wedding, as are many packs from all over.” Alaric looks towards Zander, confused.

He said. “I thought witches didn’t have mates as us wolves do.” I stated matter-of-factly. “Just because we don’t find our mates at eighteen like you do and have some miraculous bond snap into place doesn’t mean that we don’t have soul mates. Many witches are serial monogamists who mate for life just like werewolves. The goddess leads us to them in mysterious ways” he said. “So, are you trying to tell me that Sierra is my mate?” I asked him almost laughing in his face

It was Aiden that replied "The wolves were able to win the war that they called the great purge so many years ago because some witches helped them. Led by a sect of witches, called the Marin witches. Doro–" He winced, as if the name burned him "Dorothea was one of those witches. She captured me for a time and when I escaped, I killed all of them that I could find, saving her for last. I killed her. She has to be dead and someone is trying to use her name–"

Not just any witch. But the ones from the Onwa Clan, which is the moon clan. And since the spells were from the Onwa clan, any witch from that clan could not only see or smell the spell. They could feel it, and touch it. Just like I was running my fingers across the blue strings of smoky light that now filled my car. I smiled as it burst, sending cool force through my hair, as it left my car. Even if it had left, I could still feel the evidence of it's presence around me.

He said and I swallowed, wondering what he did to her.
