“Is it the famous Ruben Alvaro who is coming?” Valerie's heart was beating fast. Even though that man was the boss of the place in the company where she worked, but Valerie never saw him in person. She had only seen him in business articles, which told of how great Ruben was with the photos looking so handsome even though he was middle-aged. Valerie admired that figure especially from the articles she read. She knew that this man was a family man who was very loyal to his family. However, it turned out that Charlotte shook her head. “Not the father who will come, but the son.”

On Valentine's Day, I waited for my husband at the restaurant where he had made a reservation. My heart was full of love. I had just become pregnant with our baby. Suddenly, eight women barged into the restaurant. The one leading the charge was a woman dressed in a halter top, tight leather pants, and stilettos. The waiter approached them, “Hello, miss. Do you have a reservation? I’m afraid we are fully booked for the night.” The woman shoved the waiter away and hissed, “Move! I’m here to catch my boyfriend in the act!

Mrs. Willow's expression shifted to one of concern as she replied, "Pascal, you're still fixated on those who wanted you dead?" Valentine Anderson's brow furrowed deeply in frustration – this was not the acknowledgment he had hoped for. With a chill in his voice, he corrected her, "Don't call me that. My name is Valentine Anderson." Unperturbed by his frosty demeanor, Mrs. Willow casually slid a series of photographs across the table. Upon seeing the contents, Valentine's eyes widened in sheer disbelief. He rubbed his eyes as if to clear them from a trick of the light, but the images remained unchanged.

Valentina has a boyfriend? Is that why she didn't marry Vladimir? Is that why she sacrificed her like a lamb to the slaughterhouse? “Your what?” Rose asked, shocked. “Her boyfriend.” A smooth manly voice from behind them made them both turn around. “Eddy,” Valentina smiled and threw her arms around him in a tight hug before kissing him publicly.

I remember the day I first met Valentino like it was yesterday. My parents had promised Valerie, my elder sister to Russell Orsini, my husband. At the time, he was just a teenage boy, Valentino had not left the family or joined the mafia then, and I was still the second child of the family who had all responsibilities on her shoulder. I remember Valerie smiling happily that day, we had not drifted apart then, she was a good elder sister and I did my best to help with her responsibilities when I could. Finding the chat of the adults boring, I remember sneaking away to the balcony for fresh air.

He was slim, but defined, saying he took good care of his body. “My names Valen. Well, if I’m honest my name is Valentine, my mom had a funny sense of humor, but everyone calls me Valen. I’d ask you your name, but I doubt you’d be able to tell me, so instead maybe I can give you one?” He chuckled when I nodded my head slowly, before resting my chin back on top of my crossed paws. Valen, my mates name was Valentine. It seemed to fit him.

Sandra's Pov I was taken by surprise when I saw the delicious food on the table, the pangs in my belly intensified at the sweet savoury smell hit my nostrils. I have known Xanvier to be a good cook, and I also know that he only cooks whenever he has plans for a steamy night. I stare at his hazel eyes silently thanking him for being in my life. I am at the stage where I needed a distraction and he's provided that, even without asking. My swelled with so much love for him.

The drawing has evolved in the short time she's been gone, taking on a haunting beauty that makes Lila's breath catch. "So," Lila says, settling onto a stool beside her friend, "are you going to tell me what really happened between you and the Alpha's son?" Dorothy's hand pauses over the paper. She considers deflection but finds herself suddenly weary of secrets. "I made him a Valentine," she admits, her voice barely above a whisper. "He tore it up without looking at it." Lila's eyes widen. "He did what?" "He didn't know what it was," Dorothy adds quickly, surprising herself with the defence. "He thought it was something else."

"Really? You would do that?" "But of course, anything for you my love, so please stop crying, I can't seem to function, I can't think whenever you tear up. Come here." Valentina said Valentina hugged Ryan so tightly she said "Thanks Ryan." "I am and always will be here for you, I love you, okay?" Ryan said "Okay" Valentina nodded "Come on, please wipe those tears." Ryan used his thumb to clean her face and went to the closet where he had kept the gift he ordered earlier with hopes that it cheers her up.
