Unwanted

Unwanted

The joke would not be funny anymore, I suppose. "Marcus," I said to my best friend. He was looking at his computer. I knew he was planning something safe. Trust him to be meticulous about saving lives. "Yes," He said, looking up at me, and I sat up on the couch. The Alpha office was built for one Alpha, and Marcus was occupying the seat, leaving me to use the couch. We might have to add another desk to equalise. "I am really pissed off about that private joke," I confessed, "I say we fuck peace and rain down on them. When they too have to hide in bomb shelters and whatnot, it would no longer be funny," I said, and he sighed.

Updating my prior review but if you all aren’t reading this story, YOU’RE NUTS! With characters you love, hate, and love to hate, this story has it all. Betrayal, smut, intrigue, a bit more smut and smoking hot leads, I ate this story up. Read it! Totally worth the coins! You won’t regret reading!

I really enjoyed this book, and the characters in it. The plots were complex and kept me guessing. Imagine my surprise when I came all the way to the end and discovered the book was never finished! There apparently haven’t been any updates in over 6 months. Very disappointing.

STUCK

STUCK

She leaned on the counter further, realising she was in the right shop after all, "but they'll be awake any moment" "User name" the boy asked, opening his tab, understanding that the time has come, "PSQRT8Y634R" She spelled quickly, as if she had practiced this code every single day, "Password" "F-R-E-E-D-O-M" her tone inched forward, reflecting her eagerness. "You are in" the owner's voice sounded much like man, as much as she had come at an unexpected time, he was ready, "What are your requirements?" "A lot" she exhaled.

All Routes Leads to Chaos

All Routes Leads to Chaos

Back when I was trying to conquer this unreachable, high-and-mighty man, I had created the persona of a cheerful, sunny girl, always trying to make him happy. At that time, his future had been so bright, until one day, a sudden fainting spell revealed his heart disease. That blow hit him hard, and he became dependent on alcohol. I stayed by his side, helping him heal, bit by bit. His rare blood type had made it impossible to find a heart donor. So, I had negotiated with the system to give him my own heart. If the mission succeeded, the system would replace my heart, and if I failed, I would be erased, my points reset to zero.

End the Mistake

End the Mistake

But things finally changed on that stormy night. On the night of my 18th birthday, candlelight flickered in the council's stone tower. "Elena!" Grandfather pushed the door open, several elders following behind him. Their faces were grave, as if they were about to make a major announcement. "Sit down." He pointed to the stone chair. I obediently sat down, waiting for them to speak. "The Moon Goddess' oracle has been delivered." Elder Mary Morse spoke first. "You will become Alpha Damon's mate."

but as the girl who loved the ocean. "The sun doesn't pay the bills in Manila," I said, trying to keep my voice professional. "True. But it makes for a much better story," Mateo countered. He reached into his pocket and handed me a small, embossed business card. "If Luke gives you too much trouble, or if you ever find the 'secondary camera' too small for your talent, call me. The board needs people who see things differently. Not just people who follow orders." Just as I took the card, the heavy double doors at the end of the hall swung open. Luke was walking back toward us, his face darkening when he saw Mateo standing so close to me.

Choosing Wrong Twice

Choosing Wrong Twice

Damien also looked at me, his gaze darkening for a moment. “A friend.” I put my phone face down and picked up the box of marzipan he had specially brought back for me. I unwrapped one and placed it in my mouth. I used to love this flavor the most. Now, it only tasted sickeningly sweet and bitter at the same time, just like this marriage. Covered in sugar on the outside, while rotten underneath. Damien looked at me as if waiting for a reaction. “Is it good? If you like it, I’ll buy more next time.”

Ruby tried explaining-but with the way things were, nick looked totally confused. "Ok, boy. That's enough. However, I actually came here to warn you. You have three supernatural powers which you inherited from me. I am a very great grandma of yours. I'm in the seventeenth line of your family generation. I know you may not understand. But however, your powers are: one-the ability to see ghosts. Two- you have a special word which you can say anytime to get out of trouble but you will later get to know the word as you grow. And three- I wouldn't tell you now. You might disclose it to other people. And like I said, you will get to know it as you grow."

Faith Odulesidear grumpy boss
A slight knock cam on my office door and without looking up from my computer, I could already tell that it was none other than Cornelius, I smiled when he walked in and waited for him to take the seat across from me bfoe proceeding to be polite. “Good morning.” I called, a little bit too enthusiastic for my own good. “So you have decided to make coming to see me a daily thing huh?” I teased him. I did not have a problem with it for now because I personally still needed the daily routine I needed to get through with work but I was for sure not interested in having it become a habit. It felt like the type of thing I would eventually get tired of.

Weird Notes

Without waiting for me to finish the speak, the man slammed the door shut looking back at me, and the monster outside the door began a new knocking and roaring. "Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock." "Ah! Aah! She's mine." After almost 30 seconds, he was still looking at me, and I continued to crouch on the ground, we just looked at each other, no one said anything, the atmosphere was extremely awkward. After another 30 seconds, I couldn't stand the awkwardness and was about to speak. "You!" "You." "You first!" "You first!" The man seemed to notice the embarrassment and finally turned his head around, his eyes wavering, and said.
