His baritone kept pouring words of love into my ear until I lost my grip on sanity, and my body answered his every direction in ways I never imagined I could still feel at my age. And then, absurdly, I started laughing not because it was funny, but because saying it out loud made it sound so ridiculous, like something from a bad thriller movie.
