After reading that text, I started bursting out into laughter. He always said the most stupid and random things that always made me laugh.

I laughed at my attempts at describing the wine then shut the secret wine door, which is now my best door. I picked the torn pink gown from the floor then I walked over to the warmly lit balcony and attempted to kick the door open. “Fuck!” I cursed when the door didn’t budge; it was ruining my energized vibe. I spotted the knob and turned it, then a few milliseconds later I chuckled because it had opened way too easily. “Why did I kick the door?” I laughed then shook my head. “I should at least try to act like a civilized goat.” “I mean ‘person’…a civilized person.” I laughed, “why am I always funny when I’m alone, seriously, I should look into that?”

I let myself surrender to the rhythm, allowing my body to move freely and without shyness. With each step, I exaggerated my movements, adding a playful twist to every sway and spin. I twirled around, flailing my arms in the air, and attempted a series of comical dance moves that made Jonathan burst into laughter. SCARLETT'S POV. I was completely right. The party was boring as hell, and from the looks of things we weren't even near done here. And then even worse, the annoying as fuck MC who thoughts his jokes were so funny but they were obviously not, had been wasting so much time on the third segment of the programme which was jokes and riddles, that I almost threw my shoe at him. If I heard one more uncle joke coming from his mouth, I could just do it right there, damning all the consequences.

Time stops, I run out of air, and the universe laughs at me for blindly falling into its embarrassing trap. Sometimes, I wonder if I offended anyone in my past life…maybe I killed a bird or stepped on a puppy. I really don't understand what I did that the universe and its lover slash partner in crime, fate, has decided that my life isn't important enough to be used as anything other than a sick source of entertainment. My life must be the comedy every supernatural being goes to watch in the cinema with their dates. How else would you anyone explain most of the events that take place in my life? Since the mysterious guy found my first statement funny, I could only hope he finds the rest funny
