Detective Alsie & the Triplet Alphas-The Beginning

Detective Alsie & the Triplet Alphas-The Beginning

“Yes, Alpha Osiris, the cells are fully staffed with four shifts. We decided against the standard three shifts: day, swing and graveyards. We wanted to go with something that gave a little more flexibility and less hours on for each guard. It appears to be working; we’ve reduced our callouts by 50% and lowered our overtime by 33%. We’ve been using a rotating schedule 10 days on 4 days off. All graveyard shifts get a $2.50 per hour differential pay.” Anubis raised his hand again, “I have another question.” Ethan nodded in Anubis’s direction. Anubis asked, “You are working your guards 10-day shifts, 4 days off, then 10 swing shifts, followed by 4 days off, 10 graves followed by 4 days off. Wit

Promises in the Grave

Promises in the Grave

Alfred had gone and bought advertising space on the big screens in malls across the globe. He did all that just to celebrate the birthday of his 'late' daughter. The twisted part was that the Hawkins family had chosen the same day of all days to 'bury' me. There was Alfred, caught on camera, weeping uncontrollably over my coffin. Word on the street was that ever since Ruby and I were gone, he had not even had a drop to drink. The only thing keeping him alive was the nutritional shots John gave him, whether he liked it or not.

he turned to look at Logan and ordered, “ You will be in charge of sending them to the graveyard of the unmasked and bury them there.” With that Elder Griffiths turned to head out of the morgue, he was having a headache with the number of emails, letters and calls that he had received after these corpses were dug out from the backyard of the council. Many were announcing and demanding that he needed to step off the chair of the head of the shifter council as he did not do his job well enough to allow such a thing to happen.

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

I really liked the start of the book but started flipping through chapters and there’s a lot of filler chapters saying the same thing and honestly 700 chapters is way too much..the story line is good but waiting for something to happen made me move on to a different story

"Brother, you're forgetting what Skylar has gone through over the years to be a part of our Realm. And you sure as hell don't understand why the cemetery means so much to him now." "You're right, maybe I don't," Zack says, smiling defensively. "But I'll tell you one thing. If he and Rachel go through with this, they'll be jeopardizing the very thing he's worked so hard to be a part of." "Don't you think we know that?" I ask, gesturing up at Dominic. "But it's the closest place Skylar can be to home, to his family, without being able to share it with any of them." "It's not smart, Katie, and you know it," Zack deadpans.

Night Shift Windfall: My Partner's Last Message

I answered in a calm voice, "Thanks for the concern, Mr. Frost." Tom let out a sigh. "Will, smart people don't do stupid things. Give it to me. Five million dollars. You and your sister get to leave this place, and I will forget about the matter regarding George." "What if I refuse?" "In that case, the dead body of a security guard who jumped off a building will be found at Riverside Residences tonight. A minor accident might also happen to that younger sister of yours." I tightly held onto the USB. My knuckles turned white.

Shifter Deathbound Curse

Siron replied. “True. Oh, by the way,” Stefan lowered his voice. “I found Gideon’s secret notebook about the Dark Guardians. There’s information about the second one; he’s called ‘The Mimic.’ He can perfectly copy people’s auras and memories. He’s almost impossible to detect.” Siron froze. “The Mimic?” “Yes. And according to Gideon, the only way to expose him is by trapping him in a memory contradiction.” Stefan looked at him intently. “Do you want to read it? The notebook is in my room.”

Shadow Wolves

“Holler if you need assistance.” Lucas snorted at this but didn’t dignify with an answer as he headed his own into the cells. The cacophony of yelling, swearing and angry complaints slammed into them the moment doors opened. Every syllable bounced off the wall aggressively, slicing through the air over and over. It was like walking into a dog pound. The silence was crushed into the dirt and the walls vibrated with every explosion of noise. Some of the men locked away began banging against the doors holding them in but their efforts were futile. The doors had been designed with shifters in mind and it would take a lot more than these pathetic excuses for shifters to take the doors down.

The Alpha’s Debt of Blood: The Unwanted Mate

The Alpha’s Debt of Blood: The Unwanted Mate

"They don't have scents. They don't make noise. They just... they just step out of the shadows. There are dozens of them, circling the waterfall." A cold dread washed over the cave. Grave-Wolves were the stuff of nightmares—shifters who had died during the transition of the Eclipse or those who had been executed by the Coven and brought back as mindless, necrotic puppets. They were faster than living wolves, stronger, and they felt no pain. "Defensive positions!" Leo roared, his voice snapping the outcasts out of their stupor. "Mara, take the left flank. Archers to the upper ledges. Elara, stay in the center. If they breach the water, you're our only hope."
