Rebecca: "Hold on," I shout, stomping on the gas. The jeep driving faster than before, I hit the infected, the damn thing flying into the air before falling lifeless to the ground. Stopping after ramming the infected, I turn to the side and see Drifter standing there with a pistol in his hands. He looks frozen, only his head moving from the left to right. Covering my mouth with one of my hands, I push the window a little. "Get in," I yell. Drifter shakes his head, unfreezing himself. He throws his handgun back into his pack before climbing in.

I scoff, earning unfazed chuckles from him. That's just Drake,he never appears unfazed or frightened, regardless your method and heightened threat,his devious face constantly retains it's smirking expression. "Well,i observed your weeping and gloomy condition after superspeeding past mom and I and my aim here is helping cheer you up" he explains, grinning broadly. "You cunt,you caused my gloomy nature,you ruined my life" Ryder rages within. "I really am sorry Drake but I ain't interested and I believe you leaving somewhat sounds a whole lot better" I reply, hopping down my bed towards the slightly ajar door.

Drax's laughter echoed through the air, his voice filled with malice. "You may have confronted your fears," he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. "But you have not confronted the truth. R floored it—engine roared, branches smashed windshield, pine needles exploding. One hand on wheel, tossed me a cheap burner.

A drizzle drifted down, turning the air damp and icy. Caesar ignored jet lag and long journeys. He told the driver to go straight to the address Morgan had sent, the building where Ivy worked now. In the car, he took deep breaths and smoothed his jacket, then checked the velvet box in his pocket. He pushed the door open. Cold raindrops hit his face and cleared his head. With a steadiness he hadn't felt in days, he walked toward the building.

I said, voice low and rough, as I stepped into the shower. Water soaked me instantly, but it did nothing to douse the inferno. I closed the gap, crowding him against the wall, our bodies inches apart. His breath hitched, chest rising and falling rapidly, the scent of his sweat and arousal thick in the steam. “Bullshit. Let's help ourselves.” I grabbed his wrist, pinning it above his head with one hand, my other trailing down his slick chest, thumb brushing a nipple that pebbled under my touch.

The vibration traveled up through the stone floor, settling in my jaw. I looked up. A growl built in my throat, a guttural vibration that rattled my own teeth. Their hands shook so hard their rifles rattled. They looked like men who had seen the face of God and realized He had teeth. Rax walked forward. He moved slowly, his boots scraping against the grating—sharp, dry, too loud in the silence. He lowered his rifle. The barrel touched the ground with a dull metallic snap.

I turn back towards the front and begin getting my stuff out when Kevin plops down next to me. "So where's your little boyfriend?" Kevin mocks. "What are you talking about?" I reply in annoyance. "You know the Draven guy at the festival the other day." Kevin says with a sirk. "You know what they say about the Draven's don't you?" He continues. "They say they are evil vampires and anyone who is around them for too long disappears never to be seen again." He finishes. Suddenly a loud thunk sound comes from my other side and I look to see Victor pulling out the chair next to me. I look back at Kevin who wears a smirk on his face.
