The Raven Wolf King: Wolfless
The air thickens, pain surging through my body again as she tries to drag me back under.
Keeping my body flat, I summon the will to fracture myself. My form dissolves, breaking apart into a storm of wings. A flock of ravens bursts from where I lay, feathers scattering like shards of shadow.
This is not something I could ever do in the waking world, but here, in the dream, I can bend reality. Here, I can do whatever I want.
As a flock of ravens, I surge above them, wings beating in a storm of shadow. My attacks don’t wound, but they blind, and their vision is swallowed by the chaos of feathers.
