Raven X Starfire Novels & Stories

Hunter 2 (curious): “What of the mist-marked wolves? The old silver blood?” Vegas: “If they answer his call, they are traitors too. Mark them. End them. Let the Umbra die in darkness.” Aldren (fingering his dagger): “And bring me his heart. I want to see if it still burns.” Fire Beneath the Stars Open forest, far from the palace. Xavier and Ceres ride hard into the night, fire trailing from the black steed’s hooves. They reach a clearing. The stars blaze above. Ceres sways in the saddle.

I watch the door open, Bear, Hawk and Doc walking in and sitting. “Take a look.” I watch as Grayson holds out the box and envelope. Why is he showing them? I stare at him. “Raven’s past is coming back, it’s someone who likes to kill those she is close to. So we’re calling in everyone, if we’re not with her, we need at least three more guys watching her closely.” “You said those she is close to?” Doc looks at us and we nod. “Yes, that includes Ava, so if we’re not going to be with Ava, we need more people around her.” I won’t let Grayson pretend like Ava isn’t a target.

Just then, his subordinate, Darren Meyer, rushed in. He reported, "Raven, something terrible happened! There was a big fire in the forest last night, and Allie was burned to death inside!"

she deadpanned, and again I hid my amusement behind a smirk. “Okay fine, but in my defense, you’re full of surprises. One day you’re brewing herbs and reading to the children , the next you’re summoning fire from thin air and challenging me to sparring sessions.” Raven rolled her lips, but I still saw the laughter twinkling in her eyes before she blinked it away and pulled down the serous mask again. “And your point?” “My point,” I continued, leaning in slightly, “is that maybe let the fire rest before you burn yourself out.”

“She’s dangerous because she’s not bound by fear. And in a world like ours, that makes her more powerful than any Alpha I’ve ever faced.” The words tasted bitter, but they were the truth. Raven wasn’t just surviving in Kieran’s pack. She was defying him, and every secret I uncovered about her childhood only made me realize she was forged in fire so hot, most would’ve turned to ash. And me? I wasn’t sure if I wanted to destroy her… or stand beside her when the storm finally broke.

A chorus of snickers and whistles followed. I looked up into the eyes of Marcus Hayes. His amber eyes glowed savagely as the fires grew. His auburn hair seemed ablaze as well, and the jagged scar down the side of his left cheek made him look ghoulish in the firelight. “Raven Cross,” he drawled, hands neatly folded behind his back. His smirk was cruel as he stared down at me. “I suppose you got the meeting you wanted after all.” “What have you done?” I whispered, unable to peel my eyes away from him.

Suddenly, I’m aware that if Xavier walks in right now, this stops being emotional. It becomes war. “Kendrick.” Xavier’s voice cuts through the room like a blade. He’s standing in the doorway, shoulders rigid, eyes locked not on his brother— But on me. His gaze drops briefly to my mouth. Then to my wrist. The red marks on my wrist were very obvious. I moved instantly creating space between Kendrick and me as soon as I saw the direction of his gaze. Something in his expression changes. Dangerously. “What is this?” Xavier asks, his voice low.

Raven's POV The room went silent after Jaxon’s words. Every pair of eyes fixed on us, scrutinizing us, almost tearing us apart. My father’s gaze was the hardest of them all. I could see the disbelief in his face, the thin line of his mouth tightening even more as he looked between Jaxon and me. “You choose Raven?” His voice was flat and cold. “Yes,” Jaxon replied, his voice steady. “Raven is my mate. It is only natural that I accept her."

Justice spat out through gritted teeth. " That's enough Alpha you have disrespected Natasha and Raven, they're good friends for goddess sake. Why must you try to sew d*****d between them? Raven and I were teenagers, we thought we were in love, we weren't. She went on and became YOUR Luna she loved YOU and I love Nat my fiance. You have some deep mental issues brother." Justice replied angrily. " Well Well, you sleep in and miss a show. Why are you two arguing during breakfast in front of the whole pack?" I asked while arching my brow. Trying not to laugh at the look on Rose's face. Surprise bitch I'm still here.

Two men stepped forward. Burly. Armed. Familiar. Dexter and Dean. Leah's expression went still. Her heartbeat didn't rise. It just… stopped reacting. So it's them. Of course. The same two who testified she "caused her own miscarriage." The same two who stood behind that lie without blinking. Her Lycan guards. Instated by the Alpha King. For protection. She almost smiled. Almost. The wolf suddenly backed off, startled by something—jumping awkwardly behind the stone.
