I continued with her leash in hand while she followed me inside. I could tell she was in awe looking at my home and the vast property surrounding it. I doubted she had ever seen anything like this before.

The flames chose you for a reason.” The child like voice appeared again. It screamed in her ears, “RAVEN”.. RAVEN… She has heard that before…but where? The name sent a shiver through Charlotte, as if it resonated with a part of her she hadn’t known existed.
