All the new warriors and Alphas were asked to keep hidden away from the boarders so the rogues couldn’t catch on to the help we had enlisted. We already had three Alphas staying with us and they had each bought 100- 150 warriors. Two of the Alphas were seething for blood from the Maven family for the issues and problems they had inflicted on each of the packs while they had been living there and all the other Alphas from seven different packs had sent us over 100 rogues each. On the other end, Richard and all our alliances were planning to attack his base which were indeed the caves in the territory of Alpha Ace. There were lots of planning, discussions, and strategies that needed to be worked upon. Richard was constantly in meetings with other Alphas and I was busy with Warrior training. We had combined all the warriors in our packs and they were trained together so that they all had the same fighting patterns and techniques. ______

Ryle calmly asked, raising her brow. “Who are you to question?” Bruce growled. He’s one of our more traditional males who believes that women aren’t made to fight. They are made to be seen and not heard. Ryker bristled at Bruce’s comment. “My name is Ryker RedFang and she,” he pointed to his sister, “is my sister, Ryle RedFang and we are RedFang Defense, your Elite warrior trainers and my sister is your future Luna.” he smirked.

All hopes would have been lost if I'd been twenty seconds late. When I checked on my fellow alpha again, he'd vanished completely. I couldn't sense him behind at all. I spotted one of my warriors not long after he left. Clove had deployed two Gammas to work with Merritt's guys in making sure Raven didn't leave the city. From the look on the warrior's face, they had not found her yet. I didn't expect them to. Not this soon. She was good at running. Fast and weightless as a little bird.

Every spike in his distress fueled my rage, turning the chase into something primal. “Flank left!” I roared over the comms, voice half-shifted into a growl. Riven and the Blackthorn Alpha, a sturdy warrior named Garrick, moved seamlessly with me. We had forged the alliance in blood and necessity during the day’s running battles. Now it was being tested again as Draven’s loyalists launched a desperate thrust toward the medical wing.

I approached them, quickly walking towards Jason's side, and giving the twins a small smile which they returned. The twins had newly shifted, their wolves present in their eyes. Both Debby and Claire had not yet gained full control of their wolves, having newly shifted they were still in practice. The enemy chased after us relentlessly. Our trucks were finally within sight. "Move!" Raven shouted. The warriors sprinted toward the vehicles. A loud crack echoed behind us, Raven suddenly stumbled. She looked down at her chest before collapsing onto the ground. "Raven!" I turned and started running toward her. Before I could reach her, dozens of Crescent Moon warriors rushed ahead of us, surrounding her completely. I tried to force my way through to them, but my warriors closed in, dragging me, holding me from going.

“Is that the reason you remove them from the pack?” Thrumming my fingers on my desk, I made an annoyed grunt and said, “Vaewolf are rogue and don't assimilate to a pack. They follow their own rules and follow their own drum beats. Now enough about them. Go train with the guards and take your pal Nathan, or go to the village bar and have a drink,” I stated. As he stood, he smiled. “So Nathan's cool because he is just a vampire and you don't want to share your good liquor.”

Ryker said, his tone turning conspiratorial. I said nothing and an uncomfortable silence lingered in the air. My eyes never left his, as I tried to think of the possible outcomes of this new and deadly alliance. “So I ask you, Raven daughter of Ragnar, Alpha of Vixen Pack. Will you infiltrate Fenrir’s ranks? Will you become my eyes and ears in his pack?” Ryker said and stretched his hand again. “I have my conditions,” I said, my voice as cold as ice. “Let’s hear it,” Ryker said, his hands in his pocket.
