I whisper as my eyes take in the monster named Mangog. His skin is a mixture of red and orange. His massive head has six horns, and his gigantic three-fingered hands have four-inch claws ready to kill. His lips can't close over his fangs, and his tall body is stacked with bulging muscles. My heart immediately begins to pound again. Burk has to fight that! As Burk's name runs through my head, he emerges out from the champion area, looking nothing but calm. His knife is clutched in his hand, and he is approaching the Mangog as if he doesn't have a care in the world.

I’ve now read this book twice. It was fantastic the first time and I caught things I missed the second time. Great storyline, no rushing through the story and I felt like it ended with no loose ends. Can’t wait to read about more of the characters in the next book!

Reincarnated Lord

Reincarnated Lord

Just now did Charlando notice the little names at the lower part of the compartments, with names of different supernatural monsters, including, Dark-gold Pythons, Greenback Direwolf, Dark-scaled Rhinoceros, and so forth. "That old person Simpkin sure has large chunk of change to toss around. Reproducing a mixture? That is over the top! Mana doesn't exist any longer, and the magi are not faring any better. How might you make mixtures without mana?" considered old Tom as he shook his head unremittingly. "Then, at that point, shouldn't something be said about this thing?" Charlando waved around an enormous, fixed bamboo compartment that was very nearly a meter long. Hints of streaming fluid cou

Elia collapsed, gasping for air. Derek caught her before she could hit the ground. “I got you,” he murmured, his voice softer now, the fury in his eyes briefly replaced with concern. “I got you.” But it wasn’t over. Not even close. The rubble stirred. Then, with a low, guttural growl, Magnus rose. His body trembled as he pulled himself from the wreckage, dark energy swirling around him like a storm barely contained. His gaze flickered, wild and disoriented, but still dangerous.

Just a little higher than the waistband. Next to the bathroom, there is a sapodilla tree. A yard of cilantro, surrounded by a torn net, to prevent geese from flying in to eat. A row of white sugar cane. Sugarcane is used to squeeze juice in the summer, for refreshment. Each tree is as big as an ankle, hard as a rock. Just looking at it made Dean’s teeth feel numb. Which fruit trees are orange, mango, papaya, litchi, lemon, and coconut. The bare land below is planted with some vegetables, turmeric, and ginger.

Her eyes lit up as she spoke. "Okay?" I urged. "Why don't we make the band useless?" "What do you mean?" I tilted my head in confusion. "I mean just like..." She began to explain but I heard none of what she said. The pain I felt didn't make me realize she just said something. My tummy ached and I had chest pain. I felt the need to coughed and I did. But when I did, I coughed out blood continuously. "Megan!" Morgana shrieked.

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

6:08 AM — Penthouse, Kitchen Elira sat cross-legged on the counter, cradling a mug of ginger tea. The sky was slowly changing—a faint blush stratum hovering just above the skyline, biding its time. Caelan came in with a folder clutched under one arm. "You're not going to lecture me for burning the rice again?" She cocked her head. "Only if you feign the burnt stuff is 'for texture' again." He smiled, placed the folder on the table next to her. "The coastal survey teams have submitted their drafts. Revised parameters for mangrove replanting and fishpond rehabilitation. There's a notation in the margins—someone had written, 'Don't forget the crabs live here too.'"

Kiran said, with a laugh, as Malachi opened the door. “Keep me updated on the situation with Kai,” Malachi said. “I will. See you, Dad,” Kiran said, and sighed, when Malachi closed the door behind him. Kiran finally stood up from his desk, knowing what he had to do. From the cupboard behind his desk, he dragged Karani’s chest out, and placed it on the floor next to his chair. He took a deep breath and looked at the intricate markings on it, feeling the pull of its magic. He cut his wrist and watched as his blood congealed, and the lid shifted.

My Gangster Maid

"Cease fire! Are you going to kill our leader!?" They withdraw their guns and roamed their eyes on the river, in which, they can only see was the gradual disappearing of the tiny bubbles. Meanwhile, Raven mounted from the river side, far from where the bridge is located. He is pulling the man's arm—unconscious. Raven placed the man at the muddy grass, he took off its bonnet and tap its face. "F-cking bastard... talk to me!" he punched the mans chest and stomach, causing it to wake up and cough river water.

LDR (Lock Down Romance)

LDR (Lock Down Romance)

Sunday May 03, 2020 It was almost eleven in the morning when Gil and Maan left for Las Pinas. Just like what Joan requested they brought with them two large disposable food containers of sticky rice with mangoes and maja blanca. It took them 30 minutes to reach a spacious lot where a modern two-storey house stood fenced with a black gate and a well- manicured lawn. Gil honked his car and after a short while a smiling Joan opened the gate to let the car in. Right when the car stopped, Maan did not wait for Gil to open the car door for her and she excitedly went out to hug Joan.

The Moon Goddess Dream

The Moon Goddess Dream

Leon murmured. In here the dominant vegetation were several species of mangrove: hundreds of woody trees and shrubs with a thick, partially exposed network of roots that grow down from the branches into the water and sediment. The heavy rains have carved a model canyon in the path. Certainly, the soil was made soft by the gentle rainfall the prior day.
