Ninety Days To Be His

Ninety Days To Be His

Ever since she resumed school, I barely saw her and I needed this moment to talk to her. ''Hey honey, you up?'' I smiled, walking into her room. ''Hey dad.'' she smiled, looking up from the book she was reading. Reading was a habit of ours that she loved engaging in and I love that she took it up at this early stage. I also loved reading but it was only when I had the time to. There were several things taking up my time and even reading now seemed to be a foreign thing to me. ''What are you reading?'' ''Jack and Jill. It's our literature book for the week and I absolutely love it. Our teacher illustrated the story during our literature class today by asking two of my mates to come out, then

They had loads and she kindly sent them to my house this morning, I close my bedroom door where books where stacked on my desk. "We need to read these, I just have this feeling that if these things are real she's involved somehow" I say picking a book up placing it in Reece's lap who was sat on the bed, I also grab one beginning sitting next to him. "I have to read? I haven't done that since school" he whines looking over at me, I send him a look where makes him nod opening him a book "well I'm starting today, but what am I actually looking for?" He asks looking at the words on the pages confused, I honestly didn't know what I was looking for at this point.

I wish I had enough money for a phone and cordless headphones because it would be nice to fill some of this time with audio books. Maddie and I visit the public library every single Saturday morning. We check out the maximum number of books that we’re allowed, and we finish most of them before the next visit. We are both speed readers and enjoy learning as much as we can on almost any subject. But I can’t read on the job, so despite the library having free books on audio, most of my day is spent in silence.

Readers! Thank you all for being patient with me. The last 6mo has been a bit crazy in both my personal and professional lives. Happy to say that many great things are happening right now but those have hindered my writing a bit. I’m happy to report that Maddie’s book has been submitted.
Linwood
One of the best authors on this site!! Love her!! The story is well written, progresses well, engaging and I can really feel for the characters. Love the strong female characters that have strength of will, personality, without the whole damsel in distress trope, excellent strong male leads.

The Bookstore Temptation

She led him between the aisles, her hand running lightly over the spines. Julian lagged behind, his gaze snagging on the swing of her hips beneath her skirt. Hell. He dragged his eyes upward, to the back of her head instead. She stood in front of a shelf designated *Young Readers* and drew out books, stacking them with precision. "You really should read to her, you know," Lena said over her shoulder. Julian raised an eyebrow. "I pay people to do that." She glanced at him, her mouth twitching. "But it’s not the same," she said quietly. "She’d rather have you."

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

The woman near the window leans over her book so far her necklace dangles against the page. I head straight to the shelves. My fingers trace spines I already know, titles I’ve read before. After finding a book randomly for myself, I stop when I find the kids’ section. Rose. Her face flashes in my head, the way she sits with her legs tucked under her, pretending to read on her own before nudging me to take over. Reading together is our thing. Always has been. She listens with her whole face, eyes wide, lips parted like the words might escape if she doesn’t hold them inside.

Black Dwarf
The storyline has been good so far. ML & FML character development were good though it was stretchy between 70 and 100 - too much repetition and back & forth. Updates are frequent. I look fwd to author completing the story and me finish reading it which doesn’t happen often. I provided my support.
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

Auctioned To The Rogue King

Auctioned To The Rogue King

“You know, we could have some kind of reading list.” “Reading list?” I asked. “I’ve always envied reading clubs who had books to take down. Since you like reading, that wouldn't actually be inconvenient, will it?” I shook my head, “No.” “So, we decide a time to meet, and then we have a reading list. Maybe we both must finish eight books in two weeks. It could be at the library or right here. We don't have to read the same book. Just have different books, and delve into different worlds on the spot. Doesn't that sound fascinating?” She asked, with a bright smile. Hazel kept talking about the reading list in excitement, and I watched her in wonder.

Single Dad Alpha

Single Dad Alpha

These children deserved as much love as anyone else despite everything that happened. “After dinner, let’s read some books together. Each of you can pick one. We’ll read them in the sequence of those who finish their homework the fastest without mistakes.” Ears perking up at Richard’s announcement, the boys stopped trying to push broccoli onto each other’s plates and wolfed everything down in record time. Ludwig let out the loudest burp, and Oliver ran with his stubby legs to put the dishes in the sink. Darren was the only one who chewed his food thoroughly, but even he ate quicker so as not to fall behind his hasty brothers. Even so, Richard could tell that he was excited from how frequentl

The Secret Obsession Of The Bad CEO

"I know that not everything you might not know. I want to read from the beginning until now, and I can find many interesting books here anyway." Riley raised his hand to show an ancient book with ancient writing. There was written how to read the ancient writing on a chair sitting quietly leaning back, watching the woman who preferred to sit on the floor, with several stacks of books around her. "Are you looking for a different atmosphere?" "That's right, don't you think spending time in a different way is a great thing? I want to add more things to my life. We've been through a lot, and sometimes I feel like life is so hard. Relaxing while reading a book here can make my boredom disappear."

Whispers Of My Incubus Guardian

Whispers Of My Incubus Guardian

Luxiana Sommeris Work had been exhausting, but I felt a quiet satisfaction at the end of the day. A steady stream of students and middle-aged readers had come to the library, eagerly searching for books to immerse themselves in. I’d always assumed that technology would take over even the simple joy of reading. With ebooks and online platforms offering instant access to stories—often for just a handful of coins—it seemed inevitable. Yet, seeing people choose the weight of a book in their hands, cherishing the earthy smell of its pages, and savoring the anticipation of flipping to the next chapter made me undeniably happy.

"Guide others. Build your own stories." Dane reflected with them. "Seeing you discuss it makes us proud of every change." Groups reported back fast. More questions flew. "Any advice for new students starting required reading?" Finn asked. "Read with heart," Dane said. "Apply one piece at a time." The event ran long with talk. Students engaged deep. Elders responded with stories and wisdom. Lena noted, "This required reading creates better leaders already." Sara agreed. "Your journey means growth to them."
