I clung to King Liam's arm, seeking solace and reassurance as I trembled with anxiety. Undeterred, King Liam stepped forward, his expression unwavering and commanding. His authoritative aura sent a shiver down Drake's spine, but he stubbornly held his ground. King Liam intervened, pushing Drake away with a commanding force that made him stumble. "Take your dirty hands off my Daliah now," he said aggressively. "She stays with me," King Liam stated firmly, his voice resonating with power and determination. Drake's face contorted with anger and disbelief, but before he could retaliate, the king's fierce gaze silenced him. It was a chilling reminder that he now held the title of Alpha, and his w

I kept my head down, not daring to face him as my knee dug into the cold, hard stone floor. “You see Aurelia, I have a certain wish, I wish to unite our kingdom with King Aldrich of Ailingdale, his land may be smaller than mine” he boasted “but, he does have a bigger army, and I plan to make him our next ally and eventually he and his men will fight for me and be at my disposal just like the rest of the kings I have in my pocket” he chuckled menacingly “Yes, my King” I spoke quietly, but I failed to see how this had anything to do with me, it’s not like he ever involved me when he tricked the other Kingdoms into his greedy palms.

“Now that y’all are done fighting over some low slave girl, does anyone have better stories to tell as we wait for the rites to start?” She narrowed her gaze at Dominus. “Anything to tell us about how you took out your most prominent rival, Klax of the Eastern pack?” Everyone sat up at once, all of their attention on Dominus. Klax was the first prince of the Eastern pack, next in line to be the Alpha King. He was known for winning every fighting competition across the four axis. Everyone believed he was poised to surpass Dominus's legacy as the most feared knight. Although he wasn’t as old as Dominus, he had achieved more than half of what they praised Dominus for.

Raeme pressed. “Why? I did not become King so I can pander to the whims of a blackmailer. He can communicate my refusal to his leaders. I want them here and I want that blackmailer gone. I want the kingdom accounts checked. I want to see payment from the Order of Keln or any large amount that was paid on the day that we entered this stinking city. I want proof that the amount he demanded was actually paid to this kingdom.”

Nodding at her approval, he looked at Belle. "Your mother was second born to King Regis, High King of the Mages. I was the first born and heir to the Southern Kingdom. Your mother being the second born was heir to the Northern Kingdom. She was made Queen at the age of eighteen, but slacked on her duties. She was wild in controlling her kingdom but was very good at hiding who she was." Lilly snickered and looked at her brother. "Only because I wanted freedom from fathers commands." Alexander looked at her with a glare. "And where did it get you. Exiled into the human world."

" when do you begin your journey?" "In a week. At Dawn." "You will stay at the castle till then." It wasn't a question "Thank you, your majesty." " Ànemos, please speak to Marietta, she will take care of it." " yes your majesty." "You may both leave." They both bowed their heads briefly and turned to leave, leaving the king alone in his throne room, his heart heavier than he'd ever known it. ****

I had no home, no family, and no escape from this living nightmare. ********* Romario's POV I arrived at the King's Manor fashionably late, but as they say, better late than never. Jose King, the formidable ruler of the Mafia world in the south side, and my father's childhood friend, greeted me with a warm smile. His intimidating presence was tempered by his kind eyes, and I was grateful he wasn't an enemy. "Rommy, you're late," Namiro chided, as she embraced me. I chuckled and rolled my eyes, "Stop calling me Rommy." She playfully scoffed, and I smiled at her teasing.

“Speak!” Seeing Larmy struggle to get a word out, scared to even claw at the king’s hands, brought me deep satisfaction. Landon walked up to the commotion and said, “You could kill him by decapitation with that grip force, Karl. Cassia could just be reacting to any guard near her.” It took a few moments before the king flung Larmy aside, crashing him into a shelf, breaking it. “Get me the royal physician. Now!” he ordered Larmy, who practically rushed out.

“Back in your great-great-great grandfather’s rule, there was no galactic peace. Each of the kings wanted full intergalactic control, and to be considered the supreme ruler. The galaxies fought amongst each other for that control, but none of them had the power nor forces to acquire the great feat. This battle went on for many millennia, and bled into your great-great-grandfather, King Dominic’s, rule. One night, he had a visit from the goddess Aliyah. No other king in history could ever brag about a visit from the greatest celestial being. He asked her for the power to conquer the other galaxies to become the supreme king. She refused to grant him that request, but did give him a promise. S
