Ira's POVThe dark angel retreats his hideous hand of death, but I feel my strength leaving my body like water flowing out of a pot. Adon lunges forward, a silver blade that he didn't have before now in hand. The dark angel's handof death shoots out towards him. I gasp in horror as I no longer have the strength to stand on the way. But it appears that all our eyes were fooled as Luminis's hand of death fail to grasp the approaching angel. It's was all an illusion and even the dark angel fell for it. But where is Adon? His illusion is gone, and so is he. He can make himself invisible now?"They were never so powerful.," Lior says in a surprised tone. "It must be the Levitt's affection. Such good powers should not have been wasted on my brother's idiotic offspri-" Luminis gets cut short by a chain wrapping tightly around his neck. Adon appears behind the dark angel, pulling the chains. Luminis struggles to get free despite his strength. Lior rushes to help.his master even as I fall
Ira's Pov"That f*cking idiot! I will turn his brain into a potato," Adon suddenly speaks and stands up straight like he has regained his strength. I too am feeling stronger."Lysandra's spells are falling apart after her death. We only have to avoid meeting the dark angel now," my father says. That's easier said than done."I grant you the power to command all the golden wolves that the witch created with the powers I gave her. You shall be my assistant now. We will conquer lands and rule them," the dark angel responds to Lior. "I wish I can kill him too. But it's safer to escape and regroup first," I say. "Lysandra had one of the angel kings locked up in here. He is weak. I will bring him to you," Lior informs in an excited voice. So this is the man he was all along? He didn't just hate my mates which I also did, he was envious of them. Especially their powers."My brother never thought I would get free. He will regret his actions once I send him the dead heart of one of his offs
Ira's POVThe door to our cell opens again after several hours. Did Lysandra change her mind about giving me a day to think? Since they will be taking my blood anyway I plan to demand that she let my mates live in exchange of me becoming her servant. I am sure it will be a lot easier than living in this cell alone with a broken heart and my blood getting drained by force."Remember, do not accept to be her servant. You will turn yourself into her slave for eternity," Adon reminds in a low tone. The spells in here have not only drained off his powers but most of his strength as well. He rests his head on my chest as I hold him close. "There is still hope that my brothers found the trumpet," he adds in a weak voice. What if they didn't? What if they couldn't get back close to the pit or they were captured after a long fight?"They will kill you if I refuse. I cannot lose you now," I reply. "I would rather die than watch helplessly as you serve Lysandra and her coven," the angel argues
Ira's POVLinda pushed me into the dark pit, she is the reason we ended up here, separated from my other mates. That however does not mean that Lior had the right to sacrifice her. Why does it seem like it was his plan all along? She was obsessed with him. Would agree to anything he asked. Did she consent to being sacrificed? I wouldn't be surprised if she did. Did he do it to get here and save us or did he actually turn against us?I cannot ask him, because he cannot confess that his true intentions is to save us. I however get a hint of his plan when he discreetly winks at me. He is still on our side. There is still hope. "Ira, my new beloved servant, I offer you a chance to join the winning side. You're more valuable than any throne or jewel of this world. But you will live in this cell if you do not choose to be my loyal servant. Do not fear lord Luminis as I have a plan to fool him," Lysandra says and gestures back at the figure that resembles me and is staring intently on ange
Ira's Pov"I feel weak, like the cave drains my strength," I say to the angel walking by my side."It's the spells. My powers are fading too," he replies. "No spell should be working on you, unless it was cast using your father's blood," he adds.He is right. I have the blood that breaks spells, so none should be able to bound me. Things would however be different if a Levitt's blood was used to cast the spell.Lysandra's coven leads us towards another room inside the cave. There are many beds arranged in lines and closets on the side. But on left wall is a heavy door, locked with a dozen chains. The coven leads us towards it. They open the locks and one steps inside."We finally caught your daughter and recovered the whisper trumpet. There is no longer a threat that stands between our mistress and her dream to rule all kingdoms. She will let you live if your daughter agrees to serve her for the rest of her life," I hear the coven member say.She is talking to my father? Who else coul
Ira's PovThat's their father? They look nothing alike!Of course, they are not his offsprings. He only raised them, being well aware that they belonged to the white angel. Lysandra already used my blood to bring him back to life, and he looks like he only has life to last a day more. She indeed loved him, despite the fact that he chose her sister in his first life. I do not understand her obsession with the man. He is nothing more than a werewolf who was once the King of Lordsland."How shameless of you to call him your father. You are nothing but a bastard child that your prostitute mother burdened him with," Lysandra bitterly responds on his behalf, shooting up from her seat. "By now you must have heard all about the injustice that your evil mother committed against me. All the lies she told to be loved by my rightful mate. Then carried on to secretly procreate with the White Angel. I have planned for years to rectify all of your mother's evils. Your existence have wronged not jus
