I thought to myself, You know what I should be a responsible adult and watch the news. I flipped to the news where it was talking about a new book released by Koda Crown, 'such a beautiful name to a beautiful face' I thought to myself, and Koda Crown was indeed an amazing author, not so amazing that deserved all of the hype, such as being on the news with a new book, but enough to be a known writer and maybe have an article or 2 about him. All of his hype comes from his brothers, how good-looking he is or horny people who like smut-filled books.

The words fell into the room like a blade. For a moment— No one reacted. Then— “That’s impossible.” “That’s absurd.” “That’s—“ “Enough.” Aera’s voice cut through the noise instantly. And this time— No one spoke over her. She stood. Slowly. Deliberately. “The crown was not created for a single ruler,” she said. “It was created for balance.” Merrow shook his head. “That’s not what the records show.” Aera’s eyes sharpened. “The records have been rewritten,” the statement reverberated through the room, causing voices to rise, questions to fire, and denials to clash.

Her breath caught the moment she saw the title: The Crimson Letter By Isla Ward She stared at it, her hand hovering. “Where did you get this?” “I found it last year,” Theo said quietly. “Tucked behind the books in the library’s upper shelf. I didn’t know what it was at first. Just that it felt… wrong.”

He bowed and was gone as quickly as he arrived, leaving the heavy satchel behind. I lunged for the bag the moment the tent flap sealed. I untied the cord with shaking fingers and pulled out the book. It wasn't ancient and brittle. It was a modern reprint, but the cover read: Healers' Lore: The Legacy of the Wounded Crown. It was a medical text, disguised as a historical relic.

I said. Sebastian turned, his eyes cautious. "Anna has been by my side for years, as close as a sister. Now that she's about to walk down the aisle, it's up to me, her big sis, to hook her up with the most epic wedding gift ever, so she can make her exit in style," I said, my voice steady and clear enough for everyone up front to catch every single word. "And now that Anna's expecting, she needs extra care and protection. All the prenatal vitamins, baby clothes–nothing's going to be missing from the Caruso household."

Anatoli asked. Without turning to them, Orcenal grabbed something from his bag. He showed it to them, making them squint in displeasure. It was a book. Orcenal found it inside Harriet’s room this morning. The book was the prophecy from the other world, and the title was... [The Crown’s Diamond]. Anatoli and Ayja immediately stood back up and approached him. When they were about to reach and observe the book, Orcenal threw it to the raging fireplace.

His intrigue mind only escalated, wondering deep and beyond into the next book and the alternate one from this, by which he calls, but reads. “Dylan’s Book.” Engulf with excitement knowing that every deal that was taken from the very first chater up to the current will be fulfilled in that world and every book. Reina’s smile flashes unto his mind, as her deal with him echoes.
