Her face changed every time I spoke and as I finished she held my hand. “It sounded like he felt like a massive douche.” “Yeah I think so.” “You forgiven him? He comes across as a passionate man for a better word.” She looked deep in thought. “What are you thinking?” I put my empty cup on the coffee table. “Oh I think you should grab him with both hands and not let go,” she laughed. “And it’s good to know he isn’t perfect. Everyone fucks up and it isn’t the same as Adrian. I know you panic that it is but it isn’t. It sounds like he really cares for you.” I nodded. It did seem like that and the thought of it made my heart flutter. “I have a scan on Tuesday. Graham is working, did you want to

I snap in a snarky tone. “Fair point, I shall continue to refill your glass then.” “Thank you,” I say as I take another sip, then take another deep breath as my foot taps anxiously against the footrest of my stool. “So, this new God…” “His name is Azadou. God of Malice also known as the Demon God, and the creator of the eyti,” they explain, walking over and placing a plate in front of me along with a fork, but despite the dish looking absolutely delicious, the thought of food entering my stomach right now makes me want to hurl.

she says casually. I stare in stunned silence, looking from one God to the next. Zarseti and Oshmin… I am standing in the presence of the Goddess of Peace and Love and the God of Life and Death… somebody pinch me. “Someone wanna tell me what the fuck is going on?” Valeria huffs in annoyance. “Val,” I chastise, “This is the Goddess responsible for creating our bond, and the mother of the Delegation, and he is the God of Life and Death and father to the nagata,” I explain.

"If Adelie is Ducroft's Saintess and Denitra is Uriel's Saintess, does that mean I'm your Saintess?" "No, it's not you. It's Marvis's mother." "How cruel. You could've reserved that spot for me." "There isn't a single god in existence that can claim you. You are already Nataroth's Saintess." "Hmm, that makes more sense. Speaking of Nataroth, it seems there is an original god that is still alive." "There…is? Who is it?" "Maowry, the leader of the spirits."

As if something inside me started to burst. ‘Did you enjoy that fun life you had? You waste so much time already…’ That voice started to ring a bell in my head. The owner of that voice… there was no doubt it was him. Godar, a god of time and stars. Laughter was again heard. It was… really him. This place is something that has gods and goddesses. Although their interaction with the mortals is limited, they can still give or offer mortals something. Just like how Brother Clad can manipulate the elements of Earth.

He was trying for her to feel what he was feeling. "Lily I... I have committed many sins in my past. I have killed mercilessly. I've ruined many people's lives just for fun. Most importantly, I have betrayed people. And I regret that. All of that." He took a deep breath gazing into her loving eyes. "I want someone to pull me out of this guilt. Sometimes I want nothing more than to cry my eyes out because I'm tired of carrying this strong facade. But I can’t." He sucked in a deep breath before continuing to speak “Will you do that for me? Will you pull me out of this guilt? Can I trust you with my deepest secret? Will you promise not to judge me for what I have done?" His eyes were begging fo

"You can go to a temple and burn a request addressed to the guardian with whom you wish to make contact. "Burn a request?" Augustine repeated, puzzled by the answer the elf had given him. "Absolutely. The guardians are technically gods, and you can address them that way, or you can also pray." "Pray? Me? A vampire?" Augustine replied without masking the hint of sarcasm in his voice. The elf placed his hands in prayer before him and bowed to the vampire. "The Asian gods are not similar to the Christian god that those of your race so fear." Augustine pulled his cell phone from his coat pocket and shook it under the elf's nose, "This is the twenty-first century! You do not expect me to believe

"The god of darkness and chaos, followed by his mad faithful exiles to Cynemon." "That's what the history books say," Elhias laughed, seeing his confidence. "Werod was never a deity, he passed himself off as such, but he is only an entity born during the creation of the world and men. An entity so powerful that it makes the goddess Waruld tremble." He then concluded with his gaze lost in the void. "The goddess? Are you a religious fanatic?" asked Taryn, raising an eyebrow. "Don't you believe in the Gods?" Elhias turned to look at her, her gray eyes inspecting her.

"Senna, did you think getting a second life meant you could do whatever you wanted? Too bad. This time around, I came back too." Her pupils shrank. The color in her face faded completely. "You... You were reborn too?" I did not answer. I just looked at her. Maggie rested a hand on my shoulder. Her voice was gentle, but the weight behind it was unmistakable. "Gage, the police are already downstairs. What do you want to do to her?" I looked at Senna's face, the same face I had once been obsessed with. Now, all I felt was revulsion. "Whatever she did to me and my father in the last life, I want it paid back a hundred times over."
