I hear the door click, and I immediately head down the stairs, and straight to the cell area, still trying to push down that ache in the back of my brain. Reaching the cells I notice Greg is at the very end, but across from Josh, he looks half dead, I forgot he was even down here. It’s about time I got rid of his stench. Redhead seems to have finally cried herself to sleep, she wouldn’t shut the fuck after we first captured her, she is nothing like Jamie. I don’t know how the hell they ever got along but not everyone can be…her.

As we were walking back to our room, Red suddenly ran into a girl who was wearing reading glasses. "I'm sorry," he apologized as we helped her collect her books. "It's all right," the woman said. She looked like someone who enjoyed studying, was petite, had two braids on each side of her shoulders, and wore thick reading glasses. Looking at her ID lace, I could tell she was a vampire. "We'll assist you in carrying these books." I smiled at her and reached for her books, but Red suddenly stopped me and asked the girl. "Are you one of our classmates?" Red asked with a sneer. I know Red is annoyed with our classmates, and the girl also feels Red's annoyance with her.

I even listened to it earlier. I was not pure...I was tainted used and thrown like a broken toy....how could I be the girl he talks about?. "Unless?" Daniel turns to the last page of the book and I still. My heart stopping for a second. The scene was horrifying....there was red everywhere...dark blood red...with piles of dead bodies except for the presence of a wolf with red eyes in the centre. "Unless the death wolf finds a way to break into her soul and take it from her.....unless the death wolf gets in her mind and controls it.....finally coming to power to rise terror in the entire world again."

I don’t know why he looks this way now. Hyperion twitches, and my heart nearly stops when he tries to get up. I instinctively want to step back like Benjamin and Carlos did, but I feel way too sorry for him to do that. I instead take a step forward to help him. But when he looks at me, I see that his eyes are now red. The only creatures that have bright red eyes are Rogues.

There's that word again, Eric thought to himself. "If he looks at my scars again, I'll tear him limb from limb." Elias snarled through gritted teeth, his eyes on the redhead. "Why do you keep calling me a human?" Eric managed to blurt, rubbing his already sore neck "What are you all, Pokémon characters come to life?" "Shut up." The redhead snapped her head to him, her eyes shining with the same manic light he'd seen in the driver's eyes. He quickly fell silent.

And then he walked out of the room with no sense of direction at all. The princess had spent all night in the library, trying to find out what she could about the Athànatoi. Had to know the enemy, she figured. She had come across a book titled 'The Athànatoi through the times,' according to the book they had lived among mortals, the only distinction was the colour of their eyes, they were red, deep bloody red. They lived among men, did everything like they did, but they only mated with their own kind. She'd gotten to the part where the book began to talk about why the Athànatoi parted with man in the first place, but those parts were in a language she didn't understand, she stewed in her fru

She pulled herself out of the paper, her eyes glowing with a fierce, ancient light. "Thank you, Hazel," the woman said. She looked like the Queen from my Gilded Academy story. "We’ve been waiting for someone to break the spine of this book." Behind her, hundreds of other characters began to crawl out of their books. Werewolves, Alphas, Mafia kings, and fallen angels. They weren't puppets anymore. They were a riot. "The characters are free!" Elle cheered, her body turning solid again. But the man at the desk didn't look defeated. He started to laugh at a high, terrifying sound that made the library walls crack.

I said. The veiled woman turned her head slowly toward me. “No,” she answered. “He calls me perfect because I helped build it.” The first Blood Feather book opened again, showing a drawing of Rudina lying in a birthing bed while a veiled woman stood beside her. My breath stopped. The drawing moved. Rudina screamed silently on the page while two babies were placed in different cloths by hands wearing blood-red gloves. The veiled woman watched the drawing with no pity, only the calm interest of someone looking at work done long ago.

Athena Trinidad, a servant in the Ironclaw Dominion pack, stood with a quiet strength, her tanned skin a testament to the hardships she had endured.
