Rain
She glanced over at the entire wall of shelving that displayed Fred’s books.
A memory suddenly flashed through her mind, there was a particular book in the shelve, it wasn’t like the others. It was empty, Fred his whatever was not supposed to be found there. He’d shown the book a long time ago, memories were beginning to connect at that moment.
She jerked up in anticipation, moving close to the shelve. Her hand travelled into the red book, grabbing the metal device it connected with. Her eyes finally came in contact with the key, it had the same color as the box. At the head of the key was a crown, without wasting time, she darted out of the office. A whirl of thought lingering in her head.
