Red Heart Irresistible Yarn Novels & Stories

NELLY Red. Some say that this is the color of love and passion, but for me it's more linked to desire, lust and David Bragança. The only man who has my devotion and loyalty. Yes, David is red and runs through my veins like the blood that keeps me alive. He is like my worst nightmares and best dreams. The memory of what we did last night flashes through my head, and once again I pinch my arm to make sure it's real.

Chuckling, he spanked me several additional times before giving the go ahead to open my gift. I eased my hand over the smooth box, enjoying the feel of the crushed material. Red in color, of course. The color of enemies. Blood. And the color of hearts. Nestled inside was a thick silver choker, a single charm dangling just below. And the inscription? Forever my favorite bad girl...

Kat replied while she held the outfit up and examined it. “Oh hell no,” Taryn gave out as she jumped off the bed with phone still in hand. She snatched the sweater from Kat and observed it. It was red and green with black stripes and a large reindeer embroidered in the centre. The material looked like something sewed by Mrs. Clause. “This thing looks like the Nightmare Before Christmas. What kind of best friend I would be if I let my bestie be seen in this monstrosity?” “What's wrong with it?” Kat asked. “I think it has spunk,” Kat added, and Taryn practically laughed as she gave the hideous apparel another scornful look.

A necklace caught my attention in the middle of the glass window. "Good morning, sir. How may I help you?" the saleslady asked. "I want to see that one," I said and pointed to the necklace. She immediately took it. The necklace is stunning. It sparkles, it's a small crystal drop necklace. It suits Scarlet perfectly. This necklace is also the color of her name. "It's a Scarlet red minimalist crystal necklace." I turned around at what the saleslady said. "That necklace symbolizes courage, passion, strength, joy, and heat." she continued. I smiled, just like my honey. It really suits her.

I wasn't his pup, he didn't have a pup of his own, but he cared for me as if I were. He was a handsome wolf. Tall, with sunset-colored hair and eyes as dark as coals. Even his wolf was auburn marking him as unique. Red wolves are extremely rare. Most wolves are black, brown, or silver like myself. He fell in love with a beautiful girl. When I first met her, I didn't know she was a witch. I just knew that she was kind and brought me treats. She loved flowers, so Lysander bought her potted plants for a garden he grew just for her on his balcony. Not unlike the one I started for Apple.

So I return to the loom-spinners. They nod at me this time. No invitation. Just expectation. I step inside. The weave I touched before is thicker now. Deeper. Wound through with silvers and grays. Still raw. Still honest. They hand me another strand. This one is red. Like warning. Like rebirth. Like everything I never got to say. I knot it into the pattern. And the weave sings. Not loudly. Not even sweetly. But deeply. Like something breaking and mending at once.

“You’re right Hazel and oh Nina it’s important that you give us a colour to work with “ insisted Scarllet “Uhmm, I don’t have a beat colour but Aiden said Red looks good on me” I said with a small smile “No, red is going to be too shorty and then it will all collide with your hair colour …we need another colour , there’s a lot of colour options out there “ suggested Scarllet

I wanted to run my hand on it, feel the softness against my fingertips. “That is our 4inlove piece. Limited edition. Handmade by Mr McKenny himself in dedication to his late wife. He chose red because it is fiery, bold, and royal. He believes it is made for the most beautiful girl. And you are the perfect person for it.” The salesperson said from beside me, as I stared at the dress—-star-struck. The memory of Killian's note flashes in my head. He likes red—I noticed it. I wanted him to see me in this, I wonder how he would react.

And all boring till Lilies sent Raven the catalogue of their new collection, yet to be launched, asking if we wanted any pieces. We browsed through it and my eyes fell in love with a deep red perfectly tailored suit. "Oh," Raven breathed. "Oh, that's perfect." "It's red. To a wedding." "It's not white or ivory. It's fine." She was already arranging for it to be sent. "And it's stunning. You'd look incredible." I stared at the image. Red was bold. Red would definitely get attention. Red would make a statement. Red was exactly what Victoria would hate.

I came to realize that it was a habit of his. "You don't seem to realize this, Jane Doe," came his husky voice "but I'm quite interested in you". I felt my cheeks turn red that instant and eventhough I tried to be in control of my expression, I ended up smiling coyly. After what seemed like a decade, I made to say something but he continued. "I'm glad I made your acquaintance" he said "something tells me we're going to make the best of friends".
