“I know you might feel that it will be awkward, but, Freda is not like that. She is the nicest person I know. She will be willing to accomodate you. “ he said. “Regardless, she is a woman. “ I countered. “Don’t worry. I will talk to her about it. I can’t have you staying somewhere else when I am right here. This used to be your home before everything that has happened. “ he said. I nodded my head and agreed with him. With that reassurance, we began to walk down the dimly lit hallway, the shadows of the grandiose portraits lining the walls seeming to watch over them. It was evening, and the mansion was bathed in a soft, amber glow, giving the old building an almost magical quality. As we appr

Then he wrapped his arm around my waist before we finally went inside the house. My heart was beating so fast because of the nervousness I am feeling right now. I know that I’m stiff right now, but what can I do? Thinking of what might happen later is making me anxious! It’s not the first time that I entered the Alpha’s mansion, but I’m still amazed at how beautiful it is. The mansion was big and had a vintage vibe. When you enter the mansion, the first thing you’ll see is the grand staircase in the middle of the mansion then the expensive chandelier hanging from the ceiling. When you look at the left side, you’ll see doors and a pathway to the back of the mansion and on the right side, you’

" I heard it as if Mother Helen was begging me. I turned behind me, the way out of the mansion gate and the way home were revealed to me, I looked back at Aunt Helen. When I got home and was about to have dinner, I sighed. Maybe Manang Helen just wants someone to eat with. I know how it feels to eat alone. I looked at Manang Helen who was still looking at me. I smiled and nodded, then walked into the mansion. Her smile widened. When my slippers stepped on the shiny marble floor of the mansion, I couldn't help but be amazed. When I looked up, the luxurious design of the staircase was revealed to me, it was right in the middle of the mansion, and each handle seemed to be made of gold in

Considering it caused goose pimples to erupt on my skin. As if I hadn't been out though enough Neal's vehicle came to a halt, dragging me out of my flood of thoughts. I looked outside and a mansion behind a great iron-wreathed gate came into view. The gates creaked open, inviting us onto the gravel driveway. The mansion stood tall amidst the sprawling estate, an architectural masterpiece with towering columns and a grand entrance. Its pristine white exoskeleton exuded an air of true elegance. Neal, my forced companion for the day, stepped out and opened the car door with a courteous smile. "Welcome to Galdina Manor, Camryn," he said, handing me an umbrella to shield myself from the drizzle t

I didn’t know, and I didn’t dare ask. So I simply nodded and waited as he locked the gate again and then continued leading the way into the mansion. Inside, dazzling light attacks my eyes. Blinking a few times, I take in the space around me and feel my eyes grow wide as a single portrait of a young girl with wild red hair and silver eyes stares at me.

Rhys ran a hand through his blood-streaked hair, muttering something under his breath, but he didn’t argue. We arrived at the mansion at night. It was dark out as everyone left and trudged into the building one by one. It was well kept and had everything we would possibly need. Enough food and blankets to last us. It was a bit dusty, but nothing a little magic can't fix. The phantom wolves stood at the front of the doors as I stood inside, staring at them. A lump formed in my throat, I didn’t know how to thank them for something so impossible.

Raven's pov Chapter 3 — The Butcher Himself The red silk clung to me like a secret I didn’t ask to keep. Every step I took echoed through the marble-floored corridor of the old manor, my heels sharp like gunshots. The Vitali estate was as pretentious as I expected, dark stone, velvet drapes, and chandeliers that looked like they’d seen more blood than light. Fitting. This was the domain of the man they called The Butcher.

she asked. He squinted his eyes as he surveyed the corridor. “A prison. Her prison,” he replied. The First Bride’s voice echoed softly through the mansion. “There are no locks inside, bride. Just doors you’ll never be able to open.” Camela's heart raced as every hallway appeared identical, each shadow shifting ominously. The mansion didn’t feel like stone—it was more like silk, with red threads running through the walls that pulsed gently like blood. Vincent tightened his grip on her arm. “Stay close,” he said.

“I have received the remaining harmony from him and also cleared off my debts. I drop at his feet, no one can save me even if I scream and yell for help. I crawled back to my room waiting for my extinction. AN This is the first chapter of the book, please, don't judge me on my English, people make mistakes. Correct me with love and I will be thankful.
