Red Moon Rising Novels & Stories

The rise of the Red Moon; The "Blood-Gate", did not bring light to Neo-Tokyo. It brought a thick, coppery fog that tasted of ancient rust and dying stars. As the red crescent emerged from the Pacific, the "Zero-Variable" in Leo Vane’s veins didn't just hum; it screamed. It was a frequency of pure, unfiltered predatory instinct, a call from something that predated the "Wild Code" by eons.

“My old pack will be there.” Mariah’s eyes softened as she glanced sideways at me. “Yeah… but so will everyone else. This isn’t just some boring alpha parade. The Red Moon only rises like this every fifty years, and when it does, it amplifies everything magic, instincts, bonds…” “…Mates?” I asked, voice quiet. “Exactly.” Her voice dropped lower, almost conspiratorial. “Some say the Moon Goddess uses the Red Moon to correct her mistakes. Like granting second-chance mates. Or pulling destined ones from hiding.”

At first, nothing happened. Just darkness behind my eyelids and the steady warmth of moonlight on my face. Then images began to flicker—quick, senseless flashes. A man with blood-red eyes. Thaltos. The name came to me out of nowhere. He was the threat Kade had been preparing for. Elena, screaming. She was bound to something that looked like an altar. Silver light was being ripped out of her against her will. Kade and Damien fighting side by side, both covered in blood. They were fighting something I couldn’t see.

The night cracked open. Not softly, not gently... but like a rib snapping through flesh. The horizon glowed with a red that didn’t belong to the sky. It bled into the trees, painted the barn roof, glazed the farmhouse windows in something thick and pulsing. The kind of red that didn’t shine. It pulsed. It breathed. The Bleeding Moon had risen.

he replied. I growled again, but this time Edmond had his own question. "Who is your leader?" “The Red King!” “Oh my God, he's someone I have to ask for help when the war comes," I remembered. "You can't take her.If your boss has a problem with this, he can come here himself and we'll talk about it! " replied Edmond with his same Alpha voice. "No! We taking her, whether you like it or not! ", yelled one of the Reds. They have advanced, and so have we.

“At the origin point. And he’s carrying a piece of the Bloodmoon Mark in his blood. The ground knows.” “So he’s a carrier,” I said. “All three of us are,” Rhydian replied. The road curved and through the trees I could finally see it, the gold light rising in columns, unreal and beautiful, nothing like I pictured when I woke up today. And right in the center, too far to see but easy to find, a single unmoving shape in silver light. Soren, alone, while four hundred wolves watched. My phone buzzed. Soren. Finally.

The woman standing on the dais lifted her hands and smiled at the group before her. Sara flew around in the vision and moved in closer so that she could focus on the woman standing upon the dais. When she moved in close, she could see the red hair and the deep green eyes. The moment she learned the woman’s identity, the entire vision rippled and faded away.

Elara’s POV The Red Moon rose like an omen. By the time its light spilled through the clouds, the entire mountain seemed to pulse with it—slow, heavy, alive. The air shimmered with energy that made the hair on my arms rise. Every breath burned a little hotter than the last, like the night itself was feeding something inside me. I stood on the balcony outside Kael’s chambers, my hands gripping the cold stone rail as the first streaks of crimson light crawled across the horizon. The moon wasn’t silver tonight—it was blood-red, vast and merciless. Its reflection painted my skin in shades of fire and shadow.

Pius threw his hands in the air helplessly, "What do you mean the true heir. You took care of it, Rufus, didn't you?" Rufus relied tonelessly "Not nearly. I ordered Cyprus to." "So how can you tell he's alive?" "The red moon." This time, Leonard spoke, "The red moon?" "Yes son, the red moon. The red moon appears when it's time for an alpha to take a mate. The moon becomes red. Almost like it is covered by a red veil. We thought we had wiped the alpha's lineage off until the red moon came in view a fortnight ago." Rufus's breath had become ragged. His voice was a strangled whisper.

“Not again.” The ground shook beneath them. A low, rolling thunder rose from the valley below — deeper than any storm. Kaelen looked up, jaw tightening. “The moon’s rising early.” Serenya followed his gaze. The clouds split apart, revealing the Harvest Moon — massive, red, and burning. Its light hit her skin, and her sigil blazed brighter than ever before. “Kaelen,” she whispered, “something’s wrong. The mirror isn’t gone — it’s bleeding through.”
