And then, with a sudden move, one of the fighters landed a crushing blow, sending his opponent sprawling to the ground. The crowd roared with approval as the victor stepped back, his chest heaving with exertion. Alpha Earl nodded his approval, and the fighter was promoted to the rank of top warrior. The fights continued, each one more fierce and brutal than the last. Sam's three older brothers stepped into the ring and defeated their opponents with ease, their strength and skill evident for all to see. And then it was Sam's turn. He stepped forward, his muscles rippling with tension as he prepared to face his opponent. The other fighter was a fierce-looking werewolf, his eyes burning with a

he shook his head, "but I have a Douglas." "A Douglas?" "My head of security. Huge Samoan bloke, nicest man ye'll ever meet. Unless ye get out of line." He impishly raised an eyebrow. Anna's forehead wrinkled. "You need security?" "Sometimes," Angus shrugged lightly. "I've been in situations when fans get a bit...enthusiastic. Douglas keeps me from getting crushed. He also drives me sometimes, and he sees tae my general safety."

he bellows furiously. As if losing the weapon had activated a failsafe buried within his chaotic mind, Sam’s spine jolts unnaturally like a broken-back snake as he tries to provoke his shift. Pressing his hands onto the floor while his claws extract, Sam thrusts himself upwards and allows his animalistic side to come to light despite the deadweight being imposed against him - transforming beneath my hold in a bone-crunching melody before throwing me carelessly to the side as if I were nothing more than trash. Wasting no time, my delayed reaction costs me as Sam rushes towards me while I pounce to my feet just a moment too late. With an outstretched hand, his thrashing paw hurtles towards me

This guy had a thing for Samantha, no doubt. Sammy leaned into me and whispered to me about one of the fighters forms and I smiled and agreed with her. I shook my head and resolved to ignore Ridge unless he made himself a problem. I smiled as I watched Sam as she watched the fights. She screamed and cheered loudly along with the boisterous crowd. Rune fought in the fourth fight and I had to admit that I was impressed. His form was almost flawless and he got a tap out within the first five minutes.

“Just trust me.” I sprint through the chaos toward the wall, cutting down enemies as I go. I rip a torch from its sconce and turn to head back—just in time to hear someone scream my name. Pain lances through my side. A sword. Burning. Silver. It sears like acid as I stumble forward. I spin and see a samurai-looking god, blade gleaming as he yanks it from my flesh and raises it again. Somehow—through blood, through pain—I raise my own blade. Strength I didn’t know I had fills me, and I parry the strike. I shove him back and hurl the torch at the tapestry on the wall.

He instructed in a whisper, then he locked eyes with Larkin, and a conversation flew past both of them. Then, they both nodded in unison. What followed next was brutal and fast, out of Rhiannon's expectations. Sam and Larkin lunged out, blades slashing and claws gnashing. They tumbled in a ferocious battle with the three intruders, without even transforming into their full wolf form. Rhiannon watched quietly from behind the slab as the warriors quickly overpowered their opponents. Sam plunged his claws into an enemy's neck, ripping out its throat while Larkin used a flame burst powder to blind the others, while Sam moved with unnatural stealth and easily took them down too.

' Riley says convincingly. 'Fine, what ever you say shrink' Stewart huffs as he leaves the room. Riley takes a moment to go back through Dee's files and notes, she was only 16 when she met Blake Samuels, he was 21, was she too young and nieve to understand what type of man he is? Or was? Or was she smart enough to be part of his criminal dealings? Either way, Riley struggled to put her finger on why someone like Dee was with someone like Blake.

Ryder retorted before he went running away too. “These sniveling little worms better not teleport without us. I won’t leave them otherwise,” Aira murmured under her breath as she too stood up and so did Samantha. “They won’t want an assassin killing them in their sleep then,” Samantha, the finest assassin of our pack chuckled. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

And just as Kyle had been about to plunge his sword into Samuel’s chest, that was when he stopped and saw it. Kyle turned and was amazed to see Sam, Caitlin’s brother, approaching the battlefield like a madman. He had never seen anything like it, anyone fighting so quickly, so powerfully. It was like a whirlwind. Kyle had seen rage throughout the centuries, but he had never seen rage like this. This was the rage of a creature that had nothing left to lose. That wanted to die. Sam was a one-man disruptive force. He was slaughtering Rynd’s men as if they were dolls, and as Kyle watched in horror, Sam squared off with Rynd, and within moments, killed him, impaling him on that lance.

said Indra, which was immediately followed by the laughter of his two friends. Before they could finish their laughter, Shawn had already gotten rid of Samara, and without warning, he charged forward to attack the three men all at once with Indra as his first target. In a split second, in front of Samara now were young men fighting in a way too horrific for her to witness that she was slowly taking steps back.
