A Dark Curse

A Dark Curse

Dust motes dance in the feeble light that filters through tattered curtains, and the air holds the scent of forgotten memories. My wolf whines, baring its teeth at the familiar foyer. I ignore it, moving deeper into the house. As I move through the rooms, my fingers trace the dusty furniture that has once been the backdrop to my childhood. I shove away the memories, focusing only on those that matter. He had been obsessed with breaking the curse. And now I might finally do what he had never been able to. All I needed was to figure out how to make her fall in love with me. All without falling myself. The witch had said nothing about me, after all.

The Crimson Curse

The Crimson Curse

Death draws me towards it like we have been attached with an unbreakable string. Maybe it's just a superpower in which I get the last chance to save the person in front of me or maybe it’s a curse. Particularly a Crimson curse, as I like to call it. Through the years the number of deaths I have seen is greater than my age. You would think that death doesn't affect me anymore. You are right to think that because that is what I had thought until 5 days ago.

Birthing Twins For My Ex's Uncle

Birthing Twins For My Ex's Uncle

Warning: 18+ brutal gruesome scene, mature content, skip if you aren't okay with bloodshed. Lorenzo's POV. Dread filled the air as I stepped into the red room, which had different restraints, sex toys, bondage gears hung about it. I caressed the wipe making sure it was strong, the way I wanted it to be before I flung it to the side. Taking in the monochrome room. The red room was just a name, it wasn't particularly painted in the color, although I would have, but it wouldn't give me the pleasure I wanted if blood splashed across it, I wouldn't see it dripping down, and it didn't sit just right with me.

THE BLOOD CURSE MARK

THE BLOOD CURSE MARK

Even if that person’s soul isn’t reincarnated for centuries the curse follows them and clings to them the moment they are born. Our curse though seems to have one thing in common, and that is that we both die young. Someone really didn’t want us to live long enough but why? Is that what Reene discovered back then with Ryder? Would we be able to find the answers if I am honest with her? Will telling her that she is the trigger to my curse send her away from me? I looked around the pack mansion and there was hardly anyone here. I caught their voices; they are training at the pack training grounds so I headed there.

Soul Eaters

Soul Eaters

I nodded and gave him my own watery smile. Leaning back against the seat I grasped my necklace and closed my eyes. Taking slow deep breaths, I drifted off in no time; a telltale sign of how tired I was. I found myself in a familiar room cloaked in shadows. This was the room where Avamarie and I had met when she finally told me about the curse. I forced myself to remain calm and not to fear the inky obscurity I had found myself in. An eerie creaking noise caused me to jump out of my skin. Slowly I turned around to find a strange old-fashioned chair sitting in the corner rocking gently.

Sold To The Wrong Lycan Heir

Sold To The Wrong Lycan Heir

“A cure.” For half a second, hope lurches in my chest... violent and desperate. But then she adds, “It requires something very specific. Blood. From Lucian’s fated mate. And nothing else.” I flinch. She steps further into the room, her eyes unblinking, her posture regal. “The curse responds violently to foreign blood. In small doses, it might seem harmless, but with repeated exposure... it becomes lethal.” My heart stutters. The room tilts.

THE CURSE OF MIRA CONSTANCE

THE CURSE OF MIRA CONSTANCE

I asked her so that I could know my fate. "No, the curse killed him." "Does that mean that I will die too, just like him?" I questioned. She looked at me with pity, something she had never done before and walked away. I held the door once again, hoping that the way it was burning my fingers. I will get angry enough to break the door. I was still contemplating how to get out when Austin walked in holding a plate of food; he looked worried. "Mira, Are you okay? Did they hurt you?"

Seducing My Ex's Father In Law

Seducing My Ex's Father In Law(Submitting to My Mate's Father-in-Law)

I didn’t take my eyes off Chuck, and he didn’t take his eyes off me; it was like he was completely stagnant, unable to move. “Judy?” I heard Cora whisper. “How are you doing this so easily?” Even though there were elements of the room that were glowing, including Irene, I knew it wasn’t all of the magic. There was a small, stubborn part of the curse that remained hidden; it wasn’t sure how I knew… but something was telling me deep in my gut that I was right. “I need all of Chuck’s curse to be revealed to me,” I said, louder this time.

do you have more to this story I paid a lot. with some issues. The chapters kept getting shorter. And there are a lot of misprints and mistakes in this book. Then towards the end, there was a bunch of unanswered questions. Theblast chapter was rushed to finish.

Toxic & Tainted: The Billionaire's Cursed Obsession

Toxic & Tainted: The Billionaire's Cursed Obsession

Helena comes to the penthouse that evening and sits across from me and looks at me with the eyes that see through rather than at and says: "You know what you're doing." "Yes," I say. "And you're doing it anyway." "Yes," I say. She looks at me for a long moment. "The curse is winning today," she says, not accusingly, just accurately. "I know," I say. "Tomorrow," she says, "we try again." She opens the grimoire. POV: Vivian Ashford

By the Curse of Fire

By the Curse of Fire

Shadows flicker red beneath my door now, dancing like cruel spirits. “Run!” The word echoes in my skull. The door bursts inward in a spray of sparks and splintered wood. Flames roar behind a towering silhouette. A man steps through the fire. I cannot see his face — only the outline of him carved in burning light. And his eyes. They glow. Not with reflection. With power. The world fractures into red and gold. Heat devours everything. The scream tears from my throat— I wake choking on smoke that isn’t there. My room is dark. Quiet. Whole.
