Shadows flicker red beneath my door now, dancing like cruel spirits. “Run!” The word echoes in my skull. The door bursts inward in a spray of sparks and splintered wood. Flames roar behind a towering silhouette. A man steps through the fire. I cannot see his face — only the outline of him carved in burning light. And his eyes. They glow. Not with reflection. With power. The world fractures into red and gold. Heat devours everything. The scream tears from my throat— I wake choking on smoke that isn’t there. My room is dark. Quiet. Whole.

“The Red Queen’s Curse. My mark can feel it. I hate it.” Fenris led me away from the others. “Mara’s scouts report the Blackwood pack is in chaos. There was a black corset and top underneath it but the bottom one was red and so was the hood. “This costume is inspired from the character in the famous tale, little red riding hood which is a little red herself. Red Riding Hood is a tale about a young girl who comes to visit her grandmother only to find a wolf that plans to eat her. It was quite a happy ending since the wolf was killed and they were safe,” The woman told the tale.
