THE REFLECTION GAME

THE REFLECTION GAME

The library was quiet, the afternoon sunlight filtering through the stained-glass windows. Anna sat alone at the far corner, the mysterious book, The Reflection Game, spread open before her. Her finger traced the intricate designs on the yellowed pages, her heart pounding with both excitement and unease. The cryptic instructions whispered to her, their meaning elusive but tantalizingly close. She didn’t understand why she felt so drawn to the book, but she couldn’t let it go. It was as if the book had chosen her, as if it were calling her to uncover its secrets.

Her Dangerous Affection

Her Dangerous Affection

It was the whole thing that shove all the doubt away from my system. Not to include the shelves that was countless and height the endless. It was reflected back and forth, even seem the entire place has no walls and just an ended sight to be hold. Filled with nothing but books. I scanned everything from down bellow with my mouth halfly open. Strangely I couldn't see my reflection to the mirror that was make up the whole structure of the Library, yet I didn't react the way I should or even strange the weirdness of this place. I find it hard to explain but I shove all the doubts away at once. That's because at the deepest of the shelves was the portrait the like of which scream mysteriously!

Rebel Attraction (In Love With My Stepbrother)

Rebel Attraction (In Love With My Stepbrother)

My reflection in the polished surface of the door catches my attention. I look disheveled, my hair slightly out of place and my eyes wider than usual. There's a lingering redness in my cheeks, and I wonder how much of it is from embarrassment and how much is from anger. I push the thought away and focus on grabbing my books. One by one, I pull them out, stacking them neatly in my arms. My fingers graze the spine of a novel I've been meaning to read for weeks, but I hesitate. With everything going on, losing myself in a story feels impossible.

The Broken Luna Returns

The Broken Luna Returns

The others hesitated, hissing, as if they had never faced this kind of power before. “Selene!” Fenrir shouted again, but this time there was awe in his voice. I felt my chest tighten. The book pulsed stronger, almost as if it was alive. Each step I took, the light followed, pushing the creatures back. One lunged at me again—I slammed the book against it, and it disintegrated. Winter cheered. “Mother! That’s amazing!”

Bonded to the Exiled Alpha

Bonded to the Exiled Alpha

After several tomes about travels across this world, I find the one I’m looking for. ‘Journeys to the mirror world’. The book is thick and heavy, stuck in its place due to being unused. I clench my jaw tightly as I try to pry it out with one hand, the other holding onto the wood of the shelf. I can barely hold its spine with one hand, damn it! The books finally moves, and relief cuts through my mind. Taking it off the fact that I’m pretty high above the floor, and need to maintain my balance. “Shit!” I lose my footing and slip

BOUND TO THE RUTHLESS ALPHA

BOUND TO THE RUTHLESS ALPHA

Soraya's Pov Mira walked over to a bookshelf and pulled out an old leather book that looked like it might fall apart if you touched it wrong. She brought it back to the table and opened it carefully, the pages were yellow and covered in handwriting that was so faded I could barely read it. "This book contains everything I know about blood seals" Mira said. "I'm going to lend it to you so you can study it and understand what you're dealing with. But you must promise to return it when you're done. Books like this are rare and valuable."

BLOODBOUND: THE LAST MATE

BLOODBOUND: THE LAST MATE

She wore nothing but silver light, and her eyes were the color of a moon at eclipse, dark at the center and burning at the rim, and she was enormous in a way that had nothing to do with physical size and everything to do with the space she occupied in the world. "What are you?" Lena asked. "What you are," said the reflection, and its voice was hers and was not hers — hers the way a river is the same water as the rain that fed it, but changed by the journey. "What you have always been, underneath." "I don't have a wolf," Lena said. "No," the reflection agreed. "Not a wolf. Not exactly." "Then what?"

Wicked Crown

Wicked Crown

The most important thing for her right now is to survive the game, she needs something that will protect herself. She entered the Library and then immediately went to the shelves to look for interesting books, while walking and scrolling to the shelves she didn't realize she already reached at the very end of the library. She saw a book with golden covers, it caught her attention as it was hitted by rays of the sun and then light moved into her. She closed her eyes as she felt the reflection of the sun move in her eyes, the sun's in her skin is warm. Maybe because it's morning, she decided to take the book out of it's shelf.

The Amazing Doctor

The Amazing Doctor

He was looking for an owner for the bronze mirror. "You're very thoughtful, sir." Sebastian bowed to him very politely. Archibald nodded slightly and gave Sebastian an ancient book. He said, "This is a book about how to use this bronze mirror. It's a pity that I wasn't able to truly perceive its meaning, even though I've been studying it for most of my life." Sebastian took the ancient book that he handed him, and he saw that it was hand-copied. The words "The Mirror of Rain" were written on it.

The King's faceless wife.

The King's faceless wife.

"Here you go, My Queen." Mirra walked in to the chambers with the large book in her hands. "It took me a minute but I managed to get all the dust out. Misha showed me an excellent way to rid the dust from the book. All I needed was two willing friends to hold the cover of the book at either side and let the pages hang upside down. Many delicate swatting later, the book is as clean as it can be." I watched as Mirra walked over to the dining table and placed the large book in front of me.

Wonderful story with very engaging characters. Overall this needs good editing, spell checks, etc. but the story and character developments flowed well that my internal translator was automatically engaged.
