“I’m here to confront myself,” I said firmly. “To accept every part of me, light and dark.”
The reflection’s smirk widened. “Then let’s begin.”
The mirror shimmered, and the reflection stepped out, becoming flesh and blood. She was identical to me, yet there was an undeniable power radiating from her - a confidence and ferocity I hadn’t yet claimed for myself. She circled me slowly, her eyes sharp and calculating.
