From the strippers that were making out in the corner to the young teenage girl who was doing a dance to a guy who looked old enough to be her granddad—it all made me sick and so uncomfortable. The red lights made me sick and felt like I was in a dream. I fought with Smash, refusing to sit with him and watch the strippers but I finally obeyed him after getting some punches on my face. “You have to learn all these moves. Next week I’m going to sell you and my client expects you to dance like those bitches.”

“You’re afraid of a spoiled brat because his daddy writes the checks.” Before anyone could respond, the office door swung open. And in walked the problem. Artemis McAlester. Shawn was visibly trembling on the spot now. And he wasn't the only one with that terrified look in his eyes. Even the board members were petrified. The one closest to Artemis strutted backwards to avoid any form of contact; the other stared at the floor as if his life depended on it, and the chairman… the man was literally trembling on his toes.

“This will only give up trouble, Mister Henan.” “Andrel…” he firmly said. “Call me Andrel. You are not working for me so you don’t have to be formal. And don’t worry about trouble, Clea Mair. I will take care of it.”

Justin realized that, beyond his tricks, he was dealing with forces beyond his control. When the twins fixed their gaze on the owl, Justin feared that at any moment they might say the words “boo,” as the cursed witch had done last time. The trauma of the previous episode had left him apprehensive, as he had spent the entire day on the floor unable to move a muscle. The twins' element of surprise had triggered an unexpected fear in Justin, whose tricks now became a more complex challenge with the intervention of those supernatural creatures.

" 'Xavier Bass' he's a university's 'Big Bad' and if you want to study without getting yourself in trouble than you better stay away from him" She warned me with seriousness but for some odd reason, I felt myself getting curious about this Xavier, " big bad? Why would you call him that?" "Because he's Big and Bad " "Huh?" "He is a bully Marilyn and with a bad anger issue. If you get on his nerves , he'll literally gonna make your life a living hell" "Well, we can always complain to the teachers about him , if he tries to " Even though I was getting scared, I said that with fake confidence, trying to be brave..

How could just any man appear and decide to heartbreak her? He wiped away her tears and looked into her eyes. “Becky, do you believe in Big Brother?“ he asked, pitifully. Becky nodded her head. “Big Brother is the only person that loves me. I trust Big Brother…” she said while trembling. Tom nodded and hugged her tightly. “Big Brother is going to fight for your rights, okay? This is not going to end just like this. Let us go home, okay?“ … When Dave returned home, it was almost dinner time. He rushed straight to his room to clean up. And when he came out, I could not help but smile. “Did something good happen?“ I asked curiously.

Alana called over the rim of her drink, “What happened to your hand?” The bigger man grunted, waving his good hand about… The one that wasn’t covered in a giant bandaid he had pulled from the glove box of his truck. “You yell at me when I share my fetishes…” The black woman blinked but then turned her shining eyes toward Lotte.

In the corner, our friend Leroy had turned a folding table into a makeshift bar, playing bartender and DJ in one. A whole damn swarm of butterflies took flight in my stomach at the idea of Christian Merrick meeting my friends. I couldn’t quite picture him striding into this tattoo shop wearing one of his million-dollar suits—that image alone was going to be comedy gold. I just hoped Tig and Delia didn’t think I’d lost my mind for bringing him. They were already suspicious based on my earlier rants about his charming personality. Trying to walk that back and explain why I was suddenly into Mr. Big Prick had been…awkward. They still called him that, by the way.
