But I did not care. I just gathered my things and walked out. My hands were shaking and my heart was pounding. But I did not let anyone see my discomfort. Zara was waiting in the car. “How did it go?” She asked. “He made an offer.” “And you refused?” “I refused.” Zara widened her eyes in shock. “Alpha Kael does not like being refused.”

Akira answered monotonously. “You’re a non-believer, that’s why you’ll look sixty in two years.” Tonya pointed a perfectly manicured nail at Akira’s forehead and smiled dreamily, like a Hollywood actress in a black and white movie. “I don’t regret anything. I’m dead and I still look like a million dollars.” “Didn’t you die from a boob job gone wrong?” Akira deadpanned. “You sure you don’t regret anything?” “Grumpy, grumpy, grumpy.” Tonya spun and walked around the living room, before pointing at the blue box placed on the coffee table. “Oh honey, still a smoker? No wonder you have an attitude.”

Richard said to Tony. "Come on man, can't you see he just got rejected by a lady? How do you expect him to answer your nonsense questions now" Mac said playfully to Richard. Making both of them laugh hard at Tony. "Come on guys, I didn't even talk to her so how would she reject me?" Tony asked them rhetorically. Tony explained to Richard and Max that she came for someone so he couldn't go talk to her because she already left with the person and he also lied that she wasn't even as beautiful as he thought she was so he didn't bother to push things.

Tony – goodnight hun sweet dreams. Rebecca shuts down her laptop and lays down satisfied with the way the night turned out to her pleasure. She was thinking about how nice tony turned out to be and feeling a little remorse for telling him all those lies. Then reality kicks in and she notices that she only knows what he looks like and what is written about him on his profile which might turn out to be false but that is not enough to stop her from repeating tonight’s actions with him again in the near future, the sooner the better she thought while sleep started to fall upon her.

But don’t forget to tell me about the pending book on that stupid publishing agency, if they dare reject it, I'm kicking their ass, Period!” I exhale, tapping the steering gently. “Oh, that? They said it wasn’t their kind of forte.” Rosie gasps like someone slapped her childhood teddy bear. “Oh shit.” She places a hand dramatically over her chest. “They’re so stupid to reject publishing The Great India Seethal’s work!” Her hand rubs my shoulder in small circles, sympathetic. Surprisingly…my chest lifts with relief. “Honestly, I’m glad,” I say, shocking both of us.

I guess I felt vulnerable, cause the very next minute, I started sobbing. "It's okay, it's okay. Maybe you should try to make things work with him. he smirks at her. She looks at him with disbelief she mumbles “how could you” she tries to catch her breath he's her mate. Why did he do that, how he rejected her then call her a queen of the pirates’ devil and without thinking she says in a calm voice “And I Daniella Maynard reject your rejection King of Narcissism.” She hated that he has done what everybody else did that's why she rejects his rejection even though he already kills her inside.
