But instead of listening, Jazzen kicked me in the ribs, causing me to gasp in pain. His rejection and harsh words cut deep into my heart. "I don't know what nonsense you're spouting. She stared at the screen, her disbelief turning into panic. “No, no, no,” she muttered, frantically clicking through the options. She’d been so careful, so meticulous. Was this a mistake? Elise read the text by the side of the rejection text and it showed that it was rejected because she applied for it. But she didn’t! Who could have done it?
