There are priests, saints and people from the bible who have sinned. Stop thinking nonsense. I-I am not an angel." I was stunned again. Saint even stutter when he said he was not an angel. I took another deep breath and chose to just believe him. "Yes of course you're not." I forced a smile before turning to Saint and kiss him again.

“Soon, Saint will get tired of you and discard you while Liliana continues to reign in the family. You are going to lose out at the end of the day. Look at it, he isn't even here with you and you're standing alone like a pathetic lowlife. I have been watching the both of you all day. It looks like that day is not far away anymore.” “Is that so?” I stilled as a strong, capable arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me into a warm body. I looked up to stare into Saint's warm brown eyes. They were twinkling and passing a message of reassurance- It's okay. I'm here with you. You're not alone. I relaxed into his arms. “S…Saint,” mother stuttered and hid behind Father. “I am going to get tired and

I saw that Pierce was almost unbalanced and his lip was injured. "Saint! What are you doing?" I said to him annoyed. I looked at Pierce and he looked at me as if he was saying he was fine. "Rot in hell for lying to Clea, Ignatius," Saint said while rubbing his fist. Ah, right. Saint is a little angry because Pierce lied about his true condition, I don't know about Aunt Mary and Saint's cousins. "Just be thankful Saint, if I told the truth, maybe your boyfriend will insist on going to see you and he will be destroyed," Pierce said simply and opened the door of Saint's chopper.

But first, there was something else he was curious about. “Are you just going to leave them, sir?” Gustavo asked, turning back to Mr. Saint. “Who are you talking about?” “Mr. Simon Sinclair and your daughter. The divorce—are you going to stay silent?” Mr. Saint stared at Gustavo for a long moment, studying him. Something had changed in the young man who had once come to him, desperate for a job. His eyes—yes, his eyes were different now. The first time Mr. Saint met him, he had seen a desperate man. And desperate men were useful. They were loyal because they had no choice.

What are we going to do then? The occupants of the room all looked at one another, Mrs Sanders laughed out first the other’s followed suit, suddenly feeling refreshed, she tilted her head, and smiled genuinely at Polly for the very first time in her life “ I have always given my daughter whatever she desired in life. And she doesn’t take no for an answer, No matter how reluctant he is, no matter how much he likes the title of being the Reluctant Groom he can’t be reluctant forever.” She said with a beam on her face

She wasn't supposing this marriage would work as he didn't understand her, he ordered and marriage didn't work like this. " Dear Lord! I can't spend one day with him. He's strong, vicious and ruthless. " She murmured. He wasn't the man she wanted to fall for. She shivered, recalling his closeness in the car. She didn't hate him, but when Emlyn's name slipped from his mouth, the meaning of his words drove her to the edge. She was determined to make sacrifices for her family. Her family gave her love, which she never expected when she used to sit on the bencher outside of the orphanage. They made her part of their family, and it had shocked her from the inside that they were ready to sell her

“I have no other choice.” “Yes, you do,” argued Luke. “Didn’t you tell me it works out for that Mario guy and your ex?” “That’s because Faith is stubborn to the point of absurdity.” Luke chuckled. “And you don’t think Autumn is stubborn too? Hell, she went through a lesbian psychopath in high school and nearly died because of detergent and still dated you back then although breaking up with you could save her some trouble. If you ask me, I would say she is a fighter and stubborn as hell.”

That only increased his hate toward me. “Gerald please…. Take it easy with her; she is our child.” Mama’s pleas echoed in the still night. “She is cursed, Sarah!” He stomped his feet; silence followed, heavy with their breaths. The unusual composure I gave was shocking, even to me. Perhaps because of the man in front of me. He met my gaze, straightforward. A certain aura oozed off his presence; when our eyes met, he smirked, so short I almost missed it. “Please, priest, do what you must to cleanse her of this unclean spirit,” Father tells him,

When the truth came out Kellner had lost enough that the firm almost did not survive its third year. He had never forgotten. He said that plainly. Without apology. She would not make partner. Not because of her work. Her work was exceptional and he knew it. But because of what her father had done and because Kellner was a man who had built his entire identity around never being made a fool of twice.
