THE EVIL FOREST

THE EVIL FOREST

Moonlight through the window cast shadows, but after a quick scan she knew the room was devoid of life save for her. And then she saw it. In the vanity mirror. A reflection of the window. And looking in through the window was a creature that should not exist. That cannot be from this world. Too horrible for words. Just know, that this thing was evil. Even in the pale light, she could see the vile intentions in its inky eyes and snarling, fangled mouth. It looked excited. And hungry. Its grey hands pressed against the glass, each elongated, alien finger leaving a film residue behind as it dragged its claw-like nails down the window.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

It had probably evolved after eating others of its kind. That entire stretch of highway had been empty, except for a few stragglers near the gas station. Most likely, that level-2 zombie had dragged the others there and devoured them all. The second reason was evolution through gifts. Zombies could develop gifts, too. Once a zombie awakened a gift, its level would increase. In her previous life, Hayley had heard of the most powerful zombie king in the entire Eastern region—a terrifying creature that had evolved to level 8 and had multiple gifts.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

Star-Crossed Lovers

I looked directly at his eyes and he answered straight without hesitation. "Because it will do you good than harm. Eve, once you remember your memories of the past, terrible things always happen, I think it's a part of the curse by my shithole of a father." I have no arguments in that since I remembered how he killed me! I don't even know if I can tell Adam that I already remember but I think it's safer to do so. "Adam, I already have them..." The words stray off slowly but he just nodded.

The Full Moon Murders

The Full Moon Murders

“We need to disappear. Again. Hollowmere was supposed to be buried. No one was meant to survive that place.” Evelyn ran a hand through her wet hair. “We didn’t just survive. We saw what Sloan’s building—what she’s hiding.” Mason crouched beside them. “That… thing. The other Emily. You saw the way it moved. That wasn’t natural.” “She’s not the only one,” Evelyn said quietly. “The others in those tanks… They didn't fail. They were evolving.” Emily shivered. “She knew everything I knew. My memories, my voice… but it wasn’t me. It was like someone had printed me and stripped out the soul.”

The Billionaire's Blueprint

The Billionaire's Blueprint

"It's fractal. A self-replicating organism. Each time we sever one thread, it reroutes to a deeper core." Mirabel studied the matrix with folded arms. "Like a hydra." Sera tilted her head. "Exactly. But this one remembers every sword you've ever used against it." Bella crossed her arms tightly. "How do we kill something that keeps evolving?" "You don't," Sera replied. "You trick it into evolving the wrong way." Elodie adjusted her headset. "I found something odd. In Echo Prime's memory banks-there's a locked vault. Redacted. But the key signature is familiar."

A Revival That Came Too Late

A Revival That Came Too Late

"Mommy, why aren't you back to be with me yet?" Tyler's eyes bulged in rage when he saw Calvin. I could guess why—Calvin was like a mini version of me, aside from the fact that he was a boy. Tyler's gaze traveled between Calvin and me. After a long silence, he pointed a trembling finger at me. "How dare you betray me and even give birth to a bastard! Tell me who the father is!" Calvin had inherited Skyler's personality. He didn't really understand what "bastard" meant, but he could tell it wasn't anything nice.

Kingdom of Ash and Blood

Kingdom of Ash and Blood

But I’d never fought an echo. Amara stood frozen in front of the screen, her expression unreadable. I could almost hear her thoughts moving — sharp, relentless, dangerous. “This isn’t a resurrection,” she said finally. “It’s evolution.” “Of what?” “Of us,” she whispered. The world outside was golden with sunset, but I could feel the darkness stirring beneath it. Not an enemy we could shoot or burn or bury. Something older. Smarter. Born from our own need to control everything. Amara turned toward me, eyes glowing with that old fire again — the one I’d fallen for, feared, and followed to hell and back.

Bad Medicine

It was disorienting, almost painful. “Don’t let it distract you,” I told him, voice steadier than I felt. “Remember us. Remember what’s real.” We moved forward, threading between distorted memories and illusions, until the shadow solidified into something almost human, almost like my father—but not entirely. Its eyes glimmered with intelligence, calculating and cruel. “Impressive,” it said, voice layered with both him and something else, something unfamiliar. “You survived the storm. But you’ve only scratched the surface. I am evolution, Doctor. And you, warrior, are part of the equation.”

Alpha's Detective Luna

There was only ash and the smell of wet fur and ozone. I stepped out, my boots crunching on the permafrost. The silence was absolute. I walked toward the central pillar where a message had been carved so deeply the rock had shattered around the letters. VALERIE. RETURN. The marks weren't made by a tool. They were gouged by a beast. The handwriting was jagged, frantic, yet unmistakably Evan’s. The moment my fingers touched the stone, a jolt of raw, feral energy slammed into me. I gasped, stumbling back as a vision flashed: Evan, his human features barely recognizable, his body mid-shift and frozen in a permanent state of predatory agony, screaming my name with a voice that was more growl than

Love wasn't in the contract

Love wasn't in the contract

Evelyn reached for something off-screen and placed a folder on the desk in front of her. “If he hasn’t destroyed it, the attached files will show transaction pathways, offshore accounts, and the original access route through your father’s dormant executive code.” Damon’s mind flashed instantly to the transaction trail he had found the night before. His father’s code. Used after death. Resurrected. A ghost weaponized by a man who had been smiling in Damon’s face for years. Then Evelyn said the words that made Damon’s blood turn to ice. “There’s something else you need to know.”
