Just another hole in the road.” Rhett’s hand shot to his throat. He squeezed, fingers digging into the corded muscle. Caleb thrashed, boots kicking against the cab, eyes bulging as air choked off. “You don’t get to breathe her name,” Rhett growled. “You don’t get to breathe.”

After a series of beeps, Jett walked in but didn't enter further than the door. "What the hell was that about?" He asked harshly. I couldn't help but notice he sounded. His tone was the opposite of the way he spoke to his fiancée. "I saw her in the woods! She was wearing a ghillie suit. And she shot that dart poison thing at me." "You're wrong!" He pointed a warning finger my way. "And that is a strong allegation, Raven! She won't let it slide." "It's not an allegation. It's true. It was her! That tattoo at the back of her hand. Near her thumb. I saw it clearly!"
