The little girl looked at her mother. “Mommy…” Her voice was weak. “Help me.” Clover pulled against the chains. “I’m coming!” Kael raised his sword. “Together.” He drove the sword into the ground. Golden energy spread across the forest. Clover’s Eclipse Crown appeared. Silver and black energy surrounded her. The chains began breaking. CRACK. The Void stepped backward. “You cannot defeat me.” Clover pulled harder. “Maybe not.” CRACK. “But I can defeat what you made me believe.”

The sun hung low in the sky, casting a golden hue over the dense forest. Akira knelt on the ground, her fingers delicately brushing through the underbrush as she gathered herbs for her healing salves. "Just a little soup won't do some harm," she muttered, "They will have to manage this before I can get back to the market," she grunted. A soft cry broke her train of thoughts. She paused, her heart skipping a beat. The cry echoed again, clearer this time. Akira tilted her head, straining to listen. It was a pup’s cry.

Ready. Lyanna Black. The name I had been carrying for fourteen months, the identity built for exactly this kind of situation, a woman with enough history to be plausible and not enough to be checkable quickly. “His magic flares in the mist... wild, untamed. Moonlight and torchlight danced on the spray, creating halos of mist. At the lip of the falls stood Kaelen Blackthorn, the Rogue Prince, cloak torn at the shoulder, hair plastered with mist. He turned as they emerged, face half‑hidden by shadow and spray.

Rigel was scanning the shadows, his sword still in hand, but I could feel his energy flickering—he was pushing himself too hard. And then she appeared. Lyra stepped out of the darkness, her crimson cloak billowing around her like a second skin. Her eyes glinted in the moonlight, and there was something almost amused in her expression, like she had been expecting this. “You really don’t know when to quit, do you?” she said, her gaze flicking to Rigel before settling on me. “Stay back,” Rigel growled, his sword rising between us and her.

he exclaimed. "Leon!" exclaimed Claire in a choked voice. Claire's back has now hit a large rock on the edge of the lake. Her hands were holding the spear which was now getting longer with both hands. Hydra seemed happy playing around with Claire, toy her around. The Hydra's five heads were now pushing Claire and her spears, while the other six heads were just watching.

Rain replied before getting up from the floor and dusting her pants with an awkward laugh. The woman’s black hair was pulled up into a really tight looking ponytail and she wore a pantsuit, looking so professional and organized...Rain felt a bit jealous. Her eyes were beautifully blue, her lips full, pink and pressed into a thin line, almost like a frown. She had on a serious expression, looking at Rain like she was waiting for a confirmation or something… “Um yes! I’m Rain, Rain Coleman,” Rain stretched out a hand “Nice to meet you,”

she acknowledged after taking a short sip on the drink. “Stop distracting yourself and keep your eyes open.” The lady rolled her eyes at the statement. Hyde strolled over the counter and got himself a glass of whiskey, while Adeline set herself on the table in the corner where she could have a better perspective around the hall. “Agent Black, set.” He whispered after activating the earplug hidden in his ear. “Agent White, set.” In a short while, Adaline activated her device, too.

Chapter One: A New Beginning Aqua’s heart raced as she walked through the imposing iron gates of Crestwood High. Another town, another school, another chance to start over—if only it were that simple. At 5'10", her presence commanded attention, but she preferred to stay unnoticed. Her dark skin glowed under the morning sun, and her eyes, a striking shade of amber, held secrets untold. She pulled her hood tighter, hoping to shield herself from the prying eyes she could already feel on her.

Her response was to close her eyes tightly, biting down on her lips as if to prevent her from making too much noise. If she likes it so much, why is she holding back? “Open your eyes Raine.” I want to see it all. She hears me, but doesn’t open. “Raine? Does it feel good?” “Yess…” she whimpers out. “Open your eyes and let me see.” Still nothing. I gently tug at her hair, exposing her neck more. Her eyes flutter open, and so do her lips. She forms a perfect O, but still remains silent. I stare in her deep brown eyes, seeing them water.
