After I came to terms with the fact that the current Rhys wasn't the same Rhys that I once knew, the Rhys that once promised to always protect me, shield me, all the storms settled.
So, even when he looked like he was about to publicly crucify me, even when the pack members' gazes burned through my skin, I remained calm, composed, more like an outsider watching the whole thing from a different perspective than the person who was about to be buried by the storm itself.
