Rhysand Novels & Stories

Lance is looking sour faced and pale, standing still as a statue and I now notice he has an arrow sticking out of his arm. “I decree that from this moment forth my daughter Lilliana Pendragon is free to marry, whomever she chooses and, that the man she marries, will have equal power to hers as King of Dracovia.” Stunned silence follows as the Kings speech reaches its conclusion and I’m unsure what will happen next. I said. "My name is Kyros and I am your protector. Well, I was your protector when you were born, but I was murdered when you were two but there was something in your mind which seemed unable to forget me," he sighed but I didn't remember anyone called Kyros when I was child. He didn't even have a face. I guess that didn't really help, perhaps if he had a face, I would be able to remember who the hell he was but he was faceless and his voice didn't ring any bells either.

Henry laughed, a harsh, ugly sound. “Oh, I think you know. For years, my father, Alpha Vorlag, was... fond of you. Very fond. So fond, in fact, that he blessed you with a son. An Alpha blooded son.” He pointed a thick finger at Rhys, who was now standing near the platform, a strange, triumphant look on his face. “Rhys Veridian! Or should I say, Rhys Kaelen! My half brother!”

"It will be alright. I can bear it for a few more days. I know Nia will come back soon, and then I will leave this hellhole. Don't worry about me, Anne." "But I fear that he will break you completely before that," she said with a worried look on her face as I picked up Peyton from her crib. I cradled her closer to my breast. "How about we just kill him?" I was tempted to, but I knew I would have to run forever if I ever killed the beloved King of Westerlands packs. Westerlands packs consist of ten smaller packs around the west side of USA, and Theo was admired and adored by everyone.

He took off the headsets and glared at me. "What? Did I not make it clear that I wouldn't let you access anything in here?" He asked, frustration pressing in his voice. I went straight to the introduction. "I am Alpha Maseno, the alpha of this kingdom," I said confidently, trying to assert my authority. "I want those videos for the safety and well-being of my people." His eyes widened in shock as he struggled to rise from his chair and bowed his head. "I am sorry, Alpha. I didn't know who you were. I am sorry." I nodded, understanding his sudden change in demeanor.

I turned around to see a female roughly 5'5 with black hair, a male around 7ft with dirty blonde hair, and Jayce as well. "What a wonderful performance to turn up to. You definitely don't take disrespect lightly, do you, Sutton Nightshade?" The female says "Who are you? What do you want? And what the fuck are you up to, Jayce, you useless idiot?" I snapped. "Sorry how rude of me, I am Bellatrix Nevermore. Next to me is Ragnar Stonemountain. You all have a choice to make. Join Ragnar and help him to avenge his clan for what your ancestor did or we kill you all. Join us and destroy the one is called Serenity. What will your choice be?" Bellatrix says.

Roy responds. “I’ve never seen a hellhound before,” Lyson says, running a hand through his long black hair. He is the youngest with pale blue eyes and he seems more friendly. I was able to click with him and have a normal chat, unlike the older males. They are all handsome but not as handsome as Roy. I frown, squashing those thoughts. This shouldn’t be the direction my thoughts should take. “Trust me, you don’t want to run into one. They are more powerful than any shifter and it was by luck that we managed to escape. I would probably be dead if not for the Princess, she saved my life," Roy mutters, meeting my gaze.

“Your brother?” Ricky rarely talked about Rhysand without rolling his eyes. According to him, Rhysand Bernadi was a professional bastard. Arrogant, impossible, a full-blown bad boy with a brain too sharp and morals too flexible. He was often absent from family events because of the company, oil negotiations in the Middle East, investor meetings in London, or some minor scandal in Monaco that always got handled before the media could get a decent photo.

Ryu’s voice deepened. His whole body was covered in blood, his eyes glowing red like a true monster; even my father couldn’t make his eyes look so intimidating. “I am the Alpha; I am Ryu, and I am a predator who feeds on his enemies like prey.”

“So what now? You mock me for not playing my part well enough? Is that what is going to happen, Father?” “No, Lysandra,” he said, standing from his chair. He crossed the room slowly, his presence towering, cold, commanding. “I’m reminding you who you are.” I held my ground. “And who’s that, exactly?” He stopped in front of me, tipping my chin up with two fingers. His eyes softened as he met my gaze before they hardened once more, as if remembering that I was one of his soldiers still, despite being his daughter. “You’re my heir. My daughter. You don’t grovel. You don’t cry. You don’t wait to be chosen. You take what is yours.”
