That’s a lot of money to lose people!” Her loud exclamation can be heard through the speakers so I cover it in panic. “Hearing that you were able to get rights over your brand makes me curious how you did it, Slim-Jim isn’t an agency that would like to lose that much money without putting up a damn hard fight. The world is curious L.K, how the hell did you do it?”

Julian pulled the invitation cards from his car while giving two to Justin and Victoria. "I think we should cover our faces!" Victoria muttered as she grabbed a piece of attention. "Right, Mom and Dad can not see us unless we choose to reveal ourselves to them." Merry continued, staring at her mother and father. "I thought of it!" Julian exclaimed as he pulled the masks from his car. "You got it!" Justin chuckled while taking one of the masks from his hand before wrapping it around his mouth. Haha, yeah, Julian is the backup plan for Merry. Victoria also wears a mask over her face.

At this hidden mask party, the rules dissolved with the champagne. Ken swallowed hard and looked away, but the night offered only more. Guests in every corner had their hands full. As Ken wandered through the party, he saw two men and one woman tangled tightly together, masks askew and clothes half-unbuttoned. The woman’s hands moved over one man’s lap as she unbelted his trousers, rolling her hips slowly while the second man kissed her from behind, hands cupping and squeezing her breasts. Soft gasps and wet sounds mingled with the sea breeze. The air itself felt thick with sex, lust, and expensive perfume. Ken had already seen too much. He decided to search for Steve—this was Steve’s world.

Just as I was about to exit the app, I received a private message from an unknown account. "Ms. Lowe, I know you've been framed, and I have evidence proving Aspen is the real mastermind. Contact me if you want to clear your name." Intrigued, I immediately replied, "Where can we meet?" They quickly responded with an address. After that, I changed into fresh clothes, put on sunglasses and a face mask, then drove to the meeting spot. The location turned out to be a secluded coffee shop, and soon, a woman in a black trench coat and baseball cap nervously entered, glancing around before approaching my table.

“By whom?” “It's a closed case!” Jude replied nonchalantly. “No one knows. Well, except, if you'll ask Ethan!” Jude finalized. Suddenly, a hint of regret flashes in his eyes. “I love that mask! The one in the black market isn't as good and lasting as Hayden's.” Jude said regretfully. “I heard the mask is medicinal. Not only would it not affect his face, but it would also preserve it and even clean all the blemishes or previous wounds on the face. No face irritation even! The son must be the reason the parents dive deep into the science world.” David said.

I didn’t expect it to be this crowded. "One more thing." Alden reached into his jacket and produced a mask. Black, fine net. He held it out toward me. "It's a masked show. Nobody will know you are here." I took it from his hand and turned it over. “So tonight be whoever you want to be.” It sounded like the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. "Thank you." I said. He smiled slowly, his eyes darken as she leaned closer to my ear. "Don't thank me yet."

Caddaric had no intention to fight back since he had given his word, expecting the old man to pull the trigger. Whereas, curiosity took the best part of Sin Jon as he said mockingly, “So the masked man isn’t a robot and has back up too. Your name is Denzel. Denzel what?” He asked. It would be good to reveal the identity of the masked man and also kill him as well. That would make Sin Jon the fearest person among the mafia organizations. As such, his son would take over from him. Caddaric was not going to grant his wish and said in a robotic voice, “Why should I tell you? I’m already a dead man.”

Judd said as he used a cloth to remove the excess lube and helped her to stand. "One last item," he said. He presented her with a black Venetian lace mask. "I have one like it. Well, nearly anyway. The Fantasy Ball is a masquerade. No one will ever know who we are." Using the tip of her forefinger, Jessi lightly stroked the beautiful creation. Delicate black filigree would cover most of her face from her upper lip to her forehead, and the mask had dramatic white rhinestone brows that arched from the inner corners of her eyes to the middle of her temples. She held the mask in place while Judd fastened it behind her head.

He tightens his grip on me, and I hiss. "Let go of her," I hear Richard's voice behind me. The guy's eyes move up, looking at the man behind me that is now resting one possessive hand on my hip. The guy lets go of my wrist, and I wrap my other hand around it. Shit, it hurts. The guy raises both his hands and takes one step back. "Sorry man, I didn't know she was taken," he says, and I look back to find Richard in a black suit and white shirt, a mask that covers only his eyes, and those blue eyes burn into my soul.

The guys look so dapper in their tuxedos, and when they add their black and gold masks, they turn into mysterious strangers with eyes that ignite the flames deep within me. Jace wears a gold mask that is identical to my own, with black details, and Jude is wearing an all-black mask but looks similar to mine and Jace’s. Glancing at the reflection of us together in the mirror, I find that we look hot as hell. It only tells me that Jace and I are right to want Jude to join us, he’s our missing piece.
