And for one reckless moment, I stopped. Stopped fighting. Stopped breathing. I just watched. Then teeth closed on my shoulder and dragged me back to reality. Pain flared, blood spilling hot, my wolf snarling as I fought back. Before I could finish him, Natalia was there, her blade slicing deep across the rogue’s ribs. He howled, released me, and I finished the job with claws to his throat. I looked at her, chest heaving.

It was Rachel that spoke next, finally abandoning her anger over the party just to talk about this Xavier. “Xavier is like the richest business mogul in the whole California,” she continued. “I swear, that man is richer than sin! And what’s worse, everyone says he never does anything illegal but Garrick has sworn to get him as a client, says if he does, he’d keep details of our dealings with him as blackmail material.”

Gina rose from her seat, turning to face Rick "You did this to yourself. Rick's eyes blazed with a toxic mix of anger, regret, and desperation as he snarled, "I was a fool to take you back, but I'll fix that mistake right now." He lunged at Gina with a ferocity that made her blood run cold, his massive hands closing around her neck like a vice, crushing her windpipe. Gina's eyes widened in terror as she frantically tried to pry Rick's hands loose, her tears streaming down her face like rain. "You'll never hurt me again," Rick rasped, his voice like a rusty gate, his fingers tightening around her neck like a noose. "You're the poison in my life, and I'll kill you to be free."

I shouted and after making that speech I started heading for the cave with a huge army following me. Even if none of them had followed me I still would have gone alone anyways, to face the demon army by myself. ********* Riana's POV Ever since that night after doing some thinking, I made a decision and got my own little bible and Lena was totally ecstatic about that. “When you draw near to the creator, he will draw close to you...’

I stepped closer, trying to see what she was seeing. Nix was focused on Rick. Look at his skin. He is sweating, he’s pale, but his eyes are focused. His hand… She trailed off. He’s clutching at his neck. Megan tensed beside me. “What happened first, Rick?” He turned his haunted eyes back to us. “What?” Megan sighed as she crept closer. “What came first? You working with Vince? Or Abby getting branded?” “Does it matter?” He slammed back against the wall and dropped to his ass. “It changes nothing.”

Xavier: Rowan… the rogue who was not only kicked and shunned out but was also a traitor of a crime beyond comparison. It was a name that should have stayed buried in the past and yet, he was now walking free inside my territory, poisoning Valerie’s mind with half-truths and shadowed warnings. Hunter had already gone through every database we had, border records, rogue movements, financial trails. Rowan didn’t match any movements in the last year. I knew that he wasn’t around. I would have caught his scent if he was.

The door opened and it was Rick. ‘’My King. I just came around to see if you wanted me for anything’’. Rick said to him. ‘’Good thing you’re here Rick’’. He nodded. ‘’Get me Negan." He replied, a bit relieved that Rick came.
