Kaden stays silent for awhile longer before he spoke again, letting me process what was on the note. "I want your answer by midnight. Someone will come for it. If you fail to answer the riddle, they will die. If you answer it correctly, they live."

Not long, I receive a phone call from an unidentified number. "Hello Mr Lucas, this is Detective Joe" a voice came from the other end when I picked up the call. "Detective Joe, what's your findings?' I asked as I was eager to know the culprit. "We had a hard time finding a clue since the camera was covered with a partially covered fingerprint. But we have a distinct fingerprint that we acquire. From this, I guess we'll be close to our lead suspect", Detective Joe explained as I dropped my hope. "In essence, who could it be since I am interested in knowing this person?"

She answered all the questions in detail, then he revealed their investigation. "We found some evidence that suggests someone else might be involved in your abduction," the detective said, his expression serious. "Perhaps that individual is the real mastermind, Isabelle might just be the accomplice." Ivy's eyes widened, her heart racing with possibilities. Could it be someone she trusted? Someone close to her? But amidst these possibilities, she strongly suspected one individual she once trusted, someone who had sworn to make her life miserable. "Who is it, detective?"
