I promised myself I wouldn’t cry, but oh, I came so close to breaking that promise. “What’s there?” I ask, pointing to a spot I noticed a lot of students were. “It poetry in form of a riddle and everyone here has been trying to crack it for a long time now.” He answers me as we draw closer to the place crowd of students are. “For how long?” “Nineteen years.” One of my brows rises suspiciously, “How do you know?” “Because I’ve seen it a few times in the past.” He immediately replies. “Then why are there so many people?”

The Secret Moonbird, Hellblades Series Part 2 of 3

The Secret Moonbird, Hellblades Series Part 2 of 3

Nothing. A heavy silence fell between us. I closed my eyes, pressing my fingers against my brow. “Wait,” Pelin said suddenly. “What’s that?” I followed her gaze. “A riddle,” I breathed. My heart raced as I read aloud, my voice barely steady: “Along Ephesus’ quiet paths, tread with care, Listening to its whispers in the air. Deep secrets lie, in dreams they bide, Seek high and low, where mysteries hide. In arches and vaults, where knowledge dwells,

Chased By The Dark Alpha

Chased By The Dark Alpha

For what? I read it and my face turned pale when it didn’t make sense at all. What was this? It was all written very poetically, ‘A place for your taste The fire lit for your desire Hands serve your nerve’ Wait! This was a riddle. My eyes widened in realization but then the hairs on my neck stood in attention. The sound of footsteps thumping against the floor was profound and I looked at my left to see a moving shadow cast on the floor. Fuck! He was here.

I loved this book!!! If I were to say something bad, it would be to go back and edit better. Otherwise, great story, I loved the characters, especially Sky. I hope Sky and Jannet are in the next book. I hope to continue reading your wonderful stories for quite a few years ...️......️

This book is good but the plot is slow. 70+ chapters and they have a yet to mark and mate. Avery hasn’t learned how to defend herself and you’d think they’d get her some training or that Don would help her learn.

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame

My Next Life As A Wicked Dame

“Hmmm… I don’t really… remember as it… was just song… by the bards… but it goes… like this… “Easy comes, easy go’s. A flower bed, a garden rose. Tress are dancing, wind is gushing. Birds are singing, snakes are grinning.” That is a weird poem, parang wala namang meaning. Napa-isip tuloy ako kung sino ang author at ano ang nasa-isip nya nang maisulat niya yun. “Alam mo ba kung sino ang sumulat non Droon?” “No.” Let’s forget that for the mean time, dapat ko munang unahin kung ano ang ibig sabihin nito o kung ano ang connection nito upang mabuksan ang black box.

The Forgotten Wolf (The Tears of Odin)

Rava faced the bat and said confidently "The answer to your riddle is Thunder" The bat scowl at her. "I can assure you that even if you passed those 2, the remaining one you will fail". "We shall soon see about that Bat, tell us the third and last one". Rala said. "Now the last one. A dagger thrust at my own heart, Dictates the way I'm swayed. Left I stand, and right I yield, To the twisting of the blade. What am I?" "The answer to that is A Lock". Rava said anxiously.

That made her draw a sinister smile on her face. “Who is there?” She asks, and though she already knew who it was. She giggles, knowing who is it, yet she is in a bit of a playful mood, which teases her knowing guess. “It’s me.” With a sly smile that forms on her face, she playfully asks. “Who’s me? The rose with no thorn? The sun whose light doesn’t exist, or the soulless shadow that is undefined?” The riddle that only the four of them knew. The words that she throws through a question that is immediately answered by the words.

The Alpha King Stubborn Mate

"Are you ready." Breathing out slowly. "Ask your riddles my lady." "I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with the wind. What am I?" She asked her first riddles. Jorkallun think and smiled. "An echo." The lady face changed into a little frown as some part of the Sea divided by itself. "Echo is the correct answer. The HIDDENS

The HIDDENS

Floating platforms appeared before me, each one inscribed with a riddle. “Your challenge is trust,” the voice said. “Choose the correct path. One wrong step, and you fall.” I hesitated, my heart pounding as I read the first riddle: *I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with wind.* “An echo,” I whispered, stepping onto the platform marked with that word. It held firm. The next riddle appeared: *The more of me you take, the more you leave behind.*

The Blood Moon Ascendance

The Blood Moon Ascendance

This was a poem - a rather well known one. "Beneath the veils of shadows, a truth concealed does hide, But tread with caution, seeker, for peril doth abide. A labyrinth of riddles, a maze of twisted lore, In whispers of the darkest night, the answer lies in store," the letter continued, its words seemingly pleading for salvation from an unknown adversary and rescue from a labyrinth where they had ventured or something like that. But that part could be ignored because it was mainly just a part of the poem. Probably whoever sent this must have been apprehensive of someone coming into possession of it and harming them due to the letter.

The Lone Wolf

The Lone Wolf

It was as though the air in the cave was escaping. “One last riddle remains. Answer it, and you may pass. Fail, and you will never leave.” The words felt like a physical weight pressing on their shoulders. The chamber grew colder, and shadows stretched unnaturally across the walls. Then the final riddle appeared, more intricate than the others: **"I can be cracked, I can be made, I can be told, and I can be played. What am I?"**
