Hunted
Sirens blared, and flashing red lights cut through the white, throwing jagged shadows against the walls.
“Shit,” Riley hissed, grabbing my arm. “This way.”
We sprinted down a side corridor, boots slamming against the concrete, ducking into a doorway just as more guards flooded in from the main entrance.
Riley moved fast—faster than I expected—his claws slicing through the throat of a man blocking our path. The guard choked on his own blood, stumbling back, and I didn’t hesitate before slamming into the next one, sending his body crashing into a control panel. Sparks burst from the impact, the room flickering with erratic light.
