Nero dropped his weapon and rushed to her, loosening the restraints and gathering her still form into his arms. “It’s over, amore. I’ve got you.” But it wasn’t over. Rea let out a strangled scream and raised the scalpel to attack Nero, then Nico tried to grab her. In one swift motion, she managed to plunge it into his side instead. Nico staggered, gritting his teeth, blood staining his shirt. Her voice cracked with twisted grief, her eyes dancing with madness. “Well, you didn’t want me, Nico? Then I guess you can follow me to hell!”

He spoke to Rino but his eyes stayed on me. I could feel Rino stiffen behind me, his hands around my waist tighten. “It's never branded on the forehead now, is it Nicolo?" At the sound of the edge in his voice, Nicolo’s eyes turned back up to Rino's. Whatever he saw there had him grinning now, a sick wide grin like he'd just trapped a lion in his own jungle.

Without thinking twice, she matched towards the second girl who called her a motherless bitch. Just when she was about to slap the girl across her face, a strong masculine hand held hers. “ Let. Me. Go.” Nicki gritted her teeth, her eyes turning bloodshot with tears and anger. “ And if I don't?” A low hoarse voice came. “ Bastard! Let me go!” Nicki struggled out of his hold. “ I won't let you lay your stinking hands on my girlfriend.” The masculine voice came to view. He was looking like a Greek god with full lips, raven black hair, thick brows, chiselled jaw and delicate nose.

Elise mumbled to Alicia and just like a snap, Rio looked at her side, accommodating smiles plastered to his lips, gleaming eyes that made Elise uncomfortable. "This way my lady." Rio pronounces, slightly bowing his head and letting Elise look at him with a weird expression. "Is he okay?" Elise silently asks Alicia who only nods with delight in her eyes. "I'll be going too," Nero commented, not wanting to disturb the sibling moment. --

I can't help but be amazed at how she's grown into such a beautiful woman. From her flawless green eyes, I can tell she is frightened, and strands of her silky, black hair cling to the gleam of perspiration on her forehead. My focus shifts to Carissa's father, Ricardo, the fucker who killed my parents. Although he is smiling, I can see that his jaw is tense and that his fingers are twitching uneasily by his side. He shouts, "Congratulations on winning my prize, Nico," with his oily hands extended. I resist putting my hands around his throat. "You better take your damn hand backward before I fucking cut it off." I say firmly, and he instantly pulls his hand back, his foolish smile disappearin

He was about to type something teasing in response when his phone lit up with an incoming video call from Nico. He answered, and Nico’s face filled the screen, grinning, a little jet-lagged, but clearly excited. The background showed a neatly arranged dorm room with a wide window letting in soft morning light. “You got there safe?” Rafael asked, adjusting his position on the couch. “Yeah, I arrived late last night,” Nico replied, the camera showing his dorm in the background. “Didn’t get much sleep, but I woke up early and found this really nice restaurant near my dorm. I have been walking around so much, I think my legs are planning revenge.”

Cheryl said loudly as she looked around her. “Not guilty,” Alpha Ramirez stated calmly. “Alpha Ramirez, you are the head Alpha of Brazil and you’ve attended countless meetings with me and Alpha Sinclair as council members, you are aware of our abilities. I warn you now to speak the truth,” Alex said to him. “Alpha Ramirez, did you kill Jane Cooke?” I asked him. “I did not,” he said and his pulse remained steady as I listened to it. “Cheryl Ramirez, did you kill Jane Cooke?” I asked her.

Nico Mo‍retti and the Nikolai you know w‌as my twin⁠ broth‌er.” T‍he world tilted, “That’s not possi‌ble,” I whispered. “Believe me,” he said coo⁠lly, “‌this is no joke.” ⁠Fea⁠r spike‌d as his hand s⁠uddenly‌ closed around my neck,⁠ p‌inning me bac‌k. I g‍asped, panic exp⁠loding in my chest. “You knew he was a Moretti,” h⁠e growled. “Ho⁠w‌ could you not kno‌w‍ he ha‌d a twin?”

She was probably remembering the incident from the other day . ' Please come in . ' she said and opened the door wide . ' we are looking for Adolph . ' Nico said to her not wasting any time . ' He went out with his friends a while ago . Is something wrong ? ' she replied . I could not hear Nico's reply seeing as I went to raid her fridge . I grabbed a big bottle of orange juice and two bags of Doritos chips . Nico came into the kitchen just as I finished raiding . ' He is at The Flame Club . we need to move . ' he said eyeing my food .

He inserted the keys and tuned in to the sound of the engine's revving. "Boss, what the hell are you doing!" Noah demanded, "There's a slight chance..." But Nico cut in, although he still stared ahead, "If that chance involves getting blown up while they watch, then I'm not taking it" Looking up at Matteo still being held by Noah, he smiled, whispering, "I love you, son, keep some for your Mum and Mia." And just like he had bolted to get to them, he went on full speed, away from them; the harsh salty wind against his face and sending his hair wild also had him squinting his eyes.
