Fire And Ice

Fire And Ice

She smelt of rain. Misha always smelt of flowers. She... She smelt of rain. Suddenly, Axel wished it was raining. * The two figures came closer, Fire and Ice, with the moon shining at both of them, glad that they would meet under Her watchful gaze, smiling when the two clashed finally and would prove once and for all, the power of love itself. Let the magic begin.

Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

“Do you like them?” “Love them,” I whispered. “If you could only see them too.” Tears welled up in my eyes. I really wished he could see where we are right now. It was a place as magnificent and as perfect as he was. “I would rather see your face as you look at them. What I wouldn’t give to see it right now,” he said in a sad voice. I leaned forward and gave him a hug. “Thank you!” I whispered. Then I reached up and found his lips. He kissed me thoroughly... right there… in the middle of the fireflies.

Beautiful love story, one of the most unique plots I’ve read so far with. Very touching & emotional but still realistic. Also it’s rare plotpoint that Hero & heroine are each other’s firsts. Technically well-written - no grammatical errors! Wish there were more Hero’s POV, but loved it anyway.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.

Fires Within Fires

Fires Within Fires

“What did you tell Flora?” A flick of something and heat was bought closer. Too close. A flame. No. He can not do this. He will burn my face. This time I begged and made the words come out. “Please Hades I am sorry. I will not struggle please don’t do this” “Fucking answer my question seph” My hair was pulled and searing pain enveloped my scalp. I sobbed. The fire came closer to my neck again and this time it stayed long enough to use my vocal cords to answer.

She is My Hope

She is My Hope

"I would never let you die." Hope whispered to me. Then she let go of me and stood beside me with a corner smile, confident, she made a simple motion with her hand and that reddish shape spread further, like wings, but not just any wings, they were Dragon wings. As the wings passed through the shadows and places a bluish flame appeared and began to burn everything that wasn't solid. I could tell the shadows were writhing and screaming, they were screams of agony as they were consumed, the runes of protection disappeared and the magic that was in the place dissipated, but these flames didn't hit us, it was as if the people who were with me were immune to them.

Love Thy Hellhound

Love Thy Hellhound

He studied me and put his hands back down the second my blue flames began licking the skin of my fingers. "I promise the flames won't hurt. I physically can't and won't hurt you in anyway," I gave him a reassuring smile, holding my hands out for him to take. Mordecai hesitated before placing our palms together. The blue flames of my hound jumped onto the tips of his digits and a surge of power ran through me. My mate's eyes grew wide as a swirl of orange flames started to swirl within the blue. His ethereal aura grew brighter as a beautiful set of flaming wings sprouted from behind him. The flames of his wings were just see through enough you could kind of make out the outline of trees that

Flames Of Twinflames

Flames Of Twinflames

He's not my boyfriend for crying out loud! After finishing shopping, Alex took us to a tourist spot. Belle coincidentally met her childhood friends there. She got busy with them leaving me with her perverted brother who's busy checking out every girl around us. I silently started appreciating the beauty of the nature that surrounded us. The chirping of birds, the sounds of water, the cool breeze passing by, the laughter of children, the romance of young couples. When I felt a hand on my shoulder, I panicked while turning around to look at the intruder.

The Rip

The Rip

Everything else writhed: serrated tentacles lined with reversed barbs, wings that were wings only as jokes about wings—leathery, bent, folded in ways joints shouldn’t go, thrumming in the water like a heart with too many beats. The thing growled and the growl didn’t move through air; it vibrated her. Her ribs sang with it. Her teeth hurt. Jasmine’s brain went very calm for a sliver of a second and pulled a single thought from a deck of bad ones: Not funny, Nathan.

Lycan's Mate

Lycan's Mate

Crystal twirled, flames spilling from her hand in a controlled stream, Ryder meeting it with a burst of Alpha energy that bent the blaze into a perfect ring around them. The fire didn’t scorch either of them. She stared, awed, and laughter bubbled up unbidden. “Did you see that?” Ryder’s lips curved, wolf bright. “I see everything you are, little flame.” Their wolves surged then, pushing, demanding. Before she could respond, Ryder dropped his blade, stepping into her ring of fire without flinching. His hands caught her waist, pulling her against him. “This is who we are. Fire and fang. Flame and Alpha.”

This book has incorporated a whole lot, from werewolf element, war, the tension and emotions. I like the fact it doesn't have much intimacy which is suitable to read. The weeping valley part and Queen Elira's reveal has gone over my head again and again. I love this book and it is highly recommended

The writing is lyrical and there is a thing to the description that makes quiet moments feel emotional. I cried during the bond ceremony and that mating bond is chef kiss. Beautiful without being overly erotic, just enough to stir the heart. Looking forward to more of your books

Frequently Asked Questions

'Riptide' is one of those books that really stands out in the franchise. The story follows Riptide, a SeaWing who's caught between loyalty to his tribe and the growing tensions among the dragon kingdoms. The character development here is phenomenal—Riptide starts off as somewhat naive, but his journey forces him to confront hard truths about his world and himself. The pacing is tight, with plenty of action scenes that keep you hooked, but it’s the emotional depth that really makes this book shine. The way Tui T. Sutherland explores themes of identity, belonging, and moral ambiguity is masterful.

One thing I love about 'Riptide' is how it expands the lore of the SeaWings. We get to see more of their culture, their underwater cities, and the unique challenges they face. The interactions between Riptide and other characters, especially Tsunami, are layered and dynamic. There’s a lot of tension and camaraderie mixed together, which makes their relationships feel incredibly real. The book also does a great job of tying into the larger arc of the series without feeling like just a setup for future events. It’s a satisfying read on its own, but it also leaves you eager for more.

If I had to nitpick, I’d say the middle section drags a bit, with some repetitive internal monologue from Riptide. But that’s a minor gripe in an otherwise stellar book. The climax is intense, with stakes that feel genuinely high, and the resolution is both hopeful and bittersweet. Whether you’re a longtime fan of 'Wings of Fire' or new to the series, 'Riptide' is a must-read. It’s a perfect blend of adventure, heart, and thought-provoking storytelling.
