So she waited. The beast howled as it leapt over the fence. Still she waited. ‘Why hasn’t that stupid Alpha done anything yet … What is he waiting for?’ Her breath caught in her throat. The beast leapt. She saw the gleam of its vicious teeth as they approached to close around her neck. ‘I waited too long… I’m dead’ Her life flashed before her. She closed her eyes. “Bang” Instead of piercing pain, all that greeted her was warmth. She gasped and opened her eyes. She was in the arms of the Alpha.

It was stunning. I looked to my collarbone and saw the abstract swirls of sunrise that slowly faded into sunset. In the sunrise portion of the colours I could see the shape of his wolf, it curved and fit the shape of my breast, the swirls and strokes of colour covering the side of my breast. Where the colours darkened into sunset there was the form of his dragon in flight, the swirls and strokes of colour stopping at my hip. It was a large mark and it was absolutely stunning. It perfectly matched him and I was so proud to have it on my skin.

I'm continuously staring at the sky while laying on the mat. There's no sign of the moon but a lot of stars. The cool breeze grazes my skin and I feel goosebumps. The night's temperature is different from the day. Sas rubs her hand over my bare arm to warm it, " I don't wanna do this. Can't you ask your husbands to stop the sun from showing? The day will separate us." Saavi squeezes her hand over my hand.
