Dark Alpha Rising: Dreams and Nightmares

Dark Alpha Rising: Dreams and Nightmares

CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE: Friday night was consumed with nightmares and at 4am I decided to give up trying to sleep. I leaned over to my nightstand and pulled out a book and a reading light. Might as well take this time to get something useful done rather than scroll away on I*******m again. It had been a bit but I was finally reading to finish the last book in this fantasy romance series I loved. I hadn’t wanted the story to end so I had put off reading the last book. I loved the romance between the two main characters, a bad-guy fae who turned out to be the good guy all along, and a human girl who finds herself thrown into a world of magic. I just loved their relationship, and the whole concept

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

And it didn’t take a genius to know that inviting an Ancient here was the ultimate form of disrespect an outsider could display to the Ancestors. “This isn’t interesting anymore,” Sunflower sighed before tossing the book she was reading to the side. She rolled expertly to the end of the bed to reach the lamp and turned it off, engulfing the room in darkness. The book she had been reading until just this moment had kept her company the entire day, and had served her well in Mane’s absence. It was an intriguing book that explored the mysteries of intellectual battles between two opposing forces, and she was almost at its end. However, her worry for Mane had made what would have been the climax

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

Omega (Book 2)

Omega (Book 2)

The both of them began walking to the staircase that led up, to the next floor, where Citadel K was. “So what other differences do you think there are?” Harold who had been studying a small-sized blonde who seemed to be crying in a corner turned to look at her. The student had the same stature as Derek, Harold remembered, but Derek had been a Enchanter. A wizard, precisely. There was no way this weeping student was related to Derek. “I didn't hear what you said,” he said, turning back to look at her. “What other differences do you think there are between the pup of an Alpha and a normal wolf?”

Bride of the Sea-King Alpha

Bride of the Sea-King Alpha

He tastes like black coffee, his favorite beverage that he holds in the other hand, but the bitter dark roast can’t hide the sweetness of his kisses, like wildflower honey. “I take it you’re on a study break.” He nods toward the deck behind us, where my lounge chair sits empty. On the table beside it is the book I’m reading, one that was given to me from the High Priestess Silanya back in Winter Realm, which I’ve closed using an embroidered handkerchief as a bookmark. “It’s not quite bright enough out to read yet,” I explain, though the sky is quickly warming, fading away the magic of the sunrise. “I’ve always liked the sunrises, too,” he admits.

Silver Throne Rising

Silver Throne Rising

It hurts, everything hurts, but I couldn't stop laughing. The rogues had run from me. From worthless, wolfless Aria Silvermoon. If only Damien could have seen that. My eyes grew heavy. I knew I should move, should find better shelter, should check for injuries. But exhaustion pulled at me like an anchor dragging me down into dark water. Just for a moment,* I told myself. *Just rest for a moment... I didn't remember closing my eyes. When I woke, the sun was rising, painting the forest in shades of gold and green. Birds sang overhead, and morning dew glittered on the leaves around me.

Dark Luna Rising

Dark Luna Rising

“We’re having breakfast with Dunia.” She blinked, her expression cautious. “Yes, Alpha.” Diego turned away, not wanting to see the flicker of hurt in her eyes. Breakfast was served in the sunroom, sunlight streaming through the tall windows, bathing the room in a golden hue. Dunia sat at the head of the table, already halfway through her first cup of tea. Her gaze sharpened the moment Diego and Erika entered together. “Good morning, children,” Dunia greeted, her voice warm, yet every word carried an edge of curiosity.

Love At Sea

Love At Sea

The cover of the third book was a silent declaration of victory. Where the previous ones had carried dark and uncertain tones, this one displayed a watercolor in golds and deep blues—colors that evoked sunrises over the ocean, promises kept, and horizons that had finally revealed themselves within reach. The title, engraved in handwritten letters like an intimate confession, was simple and revolutionary: “To Live.”

Fenrir Rising

Fenrir Rising

Rising early in the morning, just after the sun started to break over the horizon slowly turning the dark night into day, Suriel woke up the wolves for breakfast. Skoll was being grumpy because he never liked the idea of waking up this early. "Just let me sleep a little longer, we have plenty of time to go out hunting." Luna rolls her eyes at his response. "Stop being so lazy, do you remember how long it took us to find a deer to kill last time?"

Chasing Kitsune

Chasing Kitsune

There will be blood tonight. I looked out my window as the light of the sun was slowly disappearing. It was a lovely sunset, only obscured by my father’s guards walking past. He was seriously trying to keep me in. Suddenly the light in my room cut out. Did he just cut the power to my room? I furrowed my brow walking to look out the window. No, it’s not just my room. I see no lights anywhere in the compound.

Another awesome book by Bryant! She is so great at character development and pulls you into her story. I love how she delved into taboo topics, and the real cost of those behaviors! It's also great to read about a strong female, instead of needing a man to save her!
Y. Jetter
This is probably one of my favorites from the author. It was well written and puts an interesting spin on Girl Power. I loved how Yuri was just risqué enough to keep me hooked. Yuri/Kitsune are the bada$$ I wish I could be. Hibiki is the perfect pairing for her, complementing not overshadowing her.
