Rio glanced back just once, then immediately gagged. While gagging, he pulled out his phone and pressed the live-stream start button. Then, he said in a sickeningly sweet voice. “Folks, brace yourselves! The most tragic scene on the planet. Start sending in donations!” Just as he looked down to adjust the beauty filter, a wave of scalding heat swept over him from behind.

I wanted to scream out for Jaxson, but I barely had enough time to take a small breath when my head surfaced. My body then slammed into another rock, and pain shot through my body as I let out a silent cry. Realization at that moment dawned on me that this was the end for me.
