She is something special. Turns out River was a rebel, loved speed, and sports. She is a hard core Texan fan and loves watching the Houston Rockets, never missing a game. Apparently, she played basketball since middle school, as a point guard, and was good at it. What surprised me the most was when she spoke about River and her bike. She told me how she traded her old bike for a faster one that she got at the age of 16. River loves her bike so much that she named her Raven because she is matte black. Well, no wonder she gave me that name. She also told me that where she is from they’re big on riding dirt bikes and off-road vehicles called buggies.

He told them with a big smile. “Kids are you ready?” Storm called out. “Yesh, mama!” River squealed running up to her with Marco chasing her with tickle fingers. “Mama, Coco twickle me.” Storm scooped her up in her arms. “No, no, no, tickle Monster, don’t tickle my baby.” Storm giggled. Rebel and Ryder came running into the room. “Go away twickle monster.” They yelled jumping on Marco’s back and started tickling him.

Philo and Thad followed him, while Era remained standing, watching his departure with turbulent emotions. * Riverdale Bluffs was a peaceful, werewolves-free town. No pack inhabited the town, despite its vast territory. There were several reasons for this, the most important being its unique geological conditions. Most of Riverdale Bluffs was a desert with sparse vegetation. There were no forests, and the area was extremely dry with very little rainfall. This made it the last choice for a pack to consider as a home.

Not sharp. He looked at Dr. Yuki. "Mine," he said. "Yours," she agreed. "You are the boss of the monsters in here." River took the monster. He held it tight. He thought about the bad man in the lobby. The man who grabbed him. Marcus had hit that man. Marcus had made him go away. Maybe Marcus was the boss of the monsters outside. And maybe River could be the boss of the monsters inside. He put the monster back in the sand. But this time, he didn't bury it. He put it in a cage made of fences.

Anu asked. "That's what I don't understand."mother looked worried. "And why is she taking long to come back from the pool?"Anu asked walking to and forth. "I guess she's stuck in there."mother said. "No. This can't happen mother. I can't let any harm come to my Artie and the babies. Let me jump into the pool too, I promise I will bring them safe and sound."he said before he jumped into the pool.

After six months of running and hiding, he'd found me again. "Winter? Are you listening to me?" I shoved my phone into my jacket and tried to breathe. "Yeah, Mom. I'm listening." The mansion got bigger as we drove closer. Dark stone walls, tall windows, everything sharp and cold. My chest felt tight. I'd escaped one nightmare and driven straight into another. Mom parked and jumped out of the car like this was the best day of her life. She was too happy about Richard's money to notice I was falling apart. "Come on, they're waiting!"

"Mom begs you, seeing you like this breaks my heart..." I wiped my tears and looked at my mother: "Then take me to see Kael." "I need to see him, dead or alive." My parents looked at each other, their eyes full of pain and struggle. Finally, my father nodded heavily: "Okay, I'll take you to see him." They didn't take me to the pack morgue. Nor did they take me to a funeral home. Instead, they drove me to the Pack's Ancestral Cemetery in the forest.

Evander didn’t flinch. “Then what about me? Are you going to take me along too, Evan?” Raven turned to face Evander. Lily, who had been silent until then, let out a look of disgust when she saw Raven’s strange behavior. “Of course you’re coming with us. The base already told you about this, right?” Evander furrowed his brow. “But… I’m really scared of the monsters outside the base. You know I almost died while fleeing here,” Raven said, her face pale.

River chuckled and pinched my butt. “Hey!” I smacked him on the arm with my spatula. River laughed as he walked away from me and grabbed his coffee. “I'll take Lyle with me today. Will you make it to the game in time?” The game was in Billings, Montana, at the college. This gave his team a chance to show how great they were. “Actually, I'm closing the arena today,” I said and shrugged. I walked around the island to him. “What?” he asked.

I don't want to kill anyone tonight. Well, Cielo Ricci maybe. I look out the window at the dark water of the Atlantic below. The moonlight is all but gone now with the clouds that rolled in carrying snow, but I get glimpses of black water now and again. This was my mom's favorite drive. She'd have me bring her here every weekend toward the end. I'd bundle her up under so many blankets you could hardly see her and drive, and she'd just watch the views and smile. Smile like the world hadn't dealt her yet another shitty card. Smile like she wasn't dying.
